COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is intended to recall and refresh student’s concept on mathematics in order to acquire mastery of arithmetic computation intelligent
understanding of the simplest rules and basic concepts of mathematical computation.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology program aims to:

1.) Produce competent, adaptive, flexible and quality computer and electronics technology graduates with good communication skills and high moral
values to meet the employment standard in the world of work.
2.) Assist the government to accelerate financial resources through the contribution of the army of graduates who will eventually become workers in
business and industry.
3.) Equip graduates with specialized technical competencies across fields of industrial technology towards occupational opportunities, entrepreneurial
capabilities and supervisory and/or managerial positions.
4.) Enhance basic and higher level literacy, communications, numeracy, critical thinking which are essential for higher learning.
5.) Provide graduates with knowledge and skills in computer networking, and electronics repair and servicing system.

At the end of the semester, the students must have
1.) Full knowledge of the fundamental operations on whole numbers, fractions, decimals and integers.
2.) Acquire in depth knowledge of the basic concepts in arithmetic.
3.) Develop understanding of the structure of number system and how the number operates in various process.
4.) Apply skills and knowledge develops in basic mathematics to real life problems.
