III – ABSTRACTION:
IMPLEMENTS AND SUPPLIES IN HAIR COLORING
Hair coloring service is the practice of changing the color of the hair. It enhances the existing
hair color through the application of coloring compounds that can temporarily or permanently alter the color of
hair. The main reasons for having a hair color are to cover gray or white hair and to change the hair color to a
fashionable or desirable hair.
It is important for the stylist to organize the tools and materials needed prior to hair coloring by preparing the
following:
4.) Ear cap - a cap or cover to protect the ear from cold.
5.) Sectioning Hair Clip – a clip used to fasten the hair during
sectioning in preparation of hair coloring service.
13.) Color Chart – a chart where the client can select the color of
the hair that she wants to avail.
