Letter of Intent For Demolition

The letter is from the Dakok Tamulon Integrated School requesting permission from the Barangay Captain to demolish a makeshift classroom building. The school expresses gratitude for the captain's support over several years, including constructing the classroom. However, the building is now deemed hazardous. Demolishing it would allow the school to build a park for students. The school believes this change is necessary for development and community prosperity. Permission for demolition is requested.

DAKOK TAMULON INTEGRATED SCHOOL
October 7, 2021

Hon. Edna T. Tuanzon

Barangay Captain
Nagpan, Malungon Sarangani

Madam:
Greetings!

The Dakok Tamulon Integrated School is very much delighted and grateful for the excellent performance
you and your fellow officials have done for our school as well as to the entire Nagpan community for the past
several years in assuring the continuity of the learners’ education by supporting their needs such as uniforms,
school supplies, school fees and even constructing a makeshift classroom to house the Grade Seven students last
school year 2017- 2018. The said makeshift classroom greatly help the school in housing the Junior High School
students for four years.
Fortunately DTIS was given a two-story building consists of four classrooms which is enough to cater the
Junior High School students so the makeshift classroom was occupied by the ALS personnel until last year.
However it was noted that the building is already hazardous to both teachers and students that’s why the ALS
personnel vacated the building and transfer to the school canteen for the meantime.
In this connection the school Officer- In- Charge is writing to your good office to humbly ask permission for
the demolition of the said building which was constructed through your generosity. The demolition of the said
building will give way to the school park which we perceive make the school more fun and enjoyable place to stay
in.
We believe that change is inevitable but sometime, it is necessary to achieve development and progress
which in return gives prosperity to one’s community.
Anticipating your favorable response.
Thank you very much and God bless

Very truly yours,

EVELYN C. VILLAREAL
Master Teacher I/ OIC
