ASSIGNMENT 1 (INDIVIDUAL)
Case Study (15%)

Objective
The main objective of the individual assignment is to discuss the importance of
transformational and transactional leaders in an organization. Students are also
required to explain, demonstrate, and report on the importance of
transformational and transactional leaders in organizations.

Assignment Requirements
1. Find 2 (two) case studies on transformational leadership style and 2 (two)
case studies on transactional leadership style.
2. Find any situation/struggle/problem faced by any existing
manufacturing/companies/services companies regarding their
sustainability in the market.
3. Analyse the situation faced by the company and suggest management
solutions based on the information from the case studies.
4. Your report should include the following details:
a. Cover page (Your Full Name, Correct Matric Number, Group Lecture,
Lecturer Name)
b. Table of contents
c. Introduction
d. Summary of the 4 (four) case studies (Background, issues/problems,
solution, reflection)
e. Put the case studies as attachments at the end of the report.
f. Analysis of the situation/struggle/problem faced by any existing
manufacturing/companies/services companies regarding their
sustainability in the market (Background of the company,
issues/problems)
g. Suggestion on management solutions to the company based on the
information from the case studies.
h. Conclusion

5. Make a 5 to 7 minutes video to share your analysis and suggestions. You


have to upload the video on YouTube and submit the link in the MyGuru.
