Roles & Responsibilities :
- Ensuring consistency across stagingproduction and Disaster recovery systems as defined in SLA for
each setup.
- Monitoring servers for hardware errors like hard disk, RAM, CPU failureswarnings and notifying
appropriate service providers and working on the same till closure.
- Monitoring LUN utilization and assist in capacity planning, storage systems and clusters.
- Working on the requests of development and support team on staging and UAT setup
- Above activities in all environments of application (production, DR, development and staging).
- Must have experience on multiple environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous
systems environments.
- Good understanding of LinuxREHL, Windows Servers, MAC Servers, Solaris, AIX, any other new
OS as acquired by Bank.
- Must have good understanding of Application Server (Weblogic JBoss, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere
or any other Application Server as acquired by bank, etc.)
Supporting & maintaining Linux RHEL, OVM, Virtualization platform, knowledge on server hardware,
SAN & NAS to ensure 24x7 Availability.
Manage L1 & L2 team for daily activities

Responsibilities
Installs, configures, documents, and maintains assigned operating system(s) hardware & software.
Regular done the VAPT and configure the server as per the CIS benchmark.
Schedules and performs installations & upgrades as needed.
Maintains assigned system security and backup / recovery procedures.
Troubleshoots problems associated with assigned server, operating systems, and application
software.
Resolves problems or escalates for further support.
Provides recommendations for hardware, systems software, and capacity budgeting & planning.
Evaluates new and existing application software products. Recommends upgrades or new
purchases.
Develops, tests, and documents disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skill Requirement
3-5 years of Linux System experience
Experience with Linux security hardening
Basic knowledge of SCM operations GitHub preferred.

Partner with and be mentored by senior IT Advisory and Transformation Program Managers and
help drive technology infrastructure from current state to future state with a focus on App Migration
and DC Exits.
Deploy and support account standard UNIX server builds and collaborate with all stakeholders to
ensure pre-requisites for the migration methods (Physical Moves or Transforms) are met as per
project timelines.
Experience with deployment of Management tools and OS Patches on new and existing servers
using deployment tools or related industrywide deployment tools.
Knowledge and experience in Migration methodologies and Migration tools like Double Take and
other related industrywide deployment/migration tools.
Knowledge in Linux VHS V2V Vmotion and Solaris Zones migration from SHS to SHS is preferred
Hands on Host-Based Storage Migration using EMC and 3 PAR Tools PPME, Solution Enabler,
etc...
SRDF and Veritas cluster (VCS) knowledge is mandatory
Any one of Linux LVM , Solaris SVM and Veritas VxVM skills mandatory
Ideally, candidate must preferably have hands on experience in working in enterprise migration
projects and involvement in planning, design, POC, Pilot and implementation phases of various
migration methods.
Thorough technical knowledge of UNIX platform (Solaris, RHEL/SuSE).
Must be able to demonstrate deep technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Expertise on UNIX heterogeneous platform environments, including Clustering, Backup operations,
Hardware , Patching and Activation
Technical skills on Network components are preferred (DNS, DHCP, TCP).
Good hands on experience on Enterprise class x86 servers/Blades (HP, IBM & DELL) are
mandatory.
Good fundamentals and technical hands on experience on UNIX troubleshooting.
Willingness to develop strong competencies in UNIX platform support.
Knowledge of Shell scripting / Python/Ansible will be a plus.
Excellent understanding of ITSM\ITIL processes and certification will be added advantage.
Good communication , team building and interpersonal skill are mandatory.
