Mwari wako, ndiri Mwari une godo; ndinorova vana nokuda kwezvivi zvamadzibaba avo,
kusvikira kurudzi rwechitatu nerwechina rwavanondivenga; ndichititira nyasha vane zviuru
zvamazana vanondida vanochengeta mirairo yangu.

You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in Usareva zita raJehovha Mwari wako nhando, nokuti Jehovha haaregi kupa mhosva anoreva zita
vain.. rake nhando.

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Rangarira zuva reSabata kuti uri chengete rive dzvene. Ubate mazuva matanhatu uite mabasa
ako ose; asi zuva rechinomwe isabata raJehovha Mwari wako; usatongobata mabasa naro, iwe,
kana mwanakomana wako, kana mwanasikana wako, kana zvipfuwo zvako, kana mweni wako
uri mukati mamasuwo ako; nokuti namazuva matanhatu Jehovha wakasika denga napasi,
negungwa, nezvose zviri mukati mazvo, akazorora nezuva rechinomwe; naizvozvo Jehovha
wakaropafadza zuva reSabata akariita dzvene.
