SRS – Matrimonial Website

The project “Matrimonial Website” is developed to find the match between bride/groom according to
their age, religion or caste. The basic purpose of SRS is to describe the complete behavior of the website
proposed. It is like an agreement between client and the developer. System easily understands and
solves any problem if the SRS is produced. The special and the extra importance are given to identify
what is required from the website/system, not how the system will work and achieve its goal. The final
goal is to produce a stable and a high quality SRS.

This web requirement document is intended for:

Scope:

Our website provides matrimonial services to all people. In this website provide matrimonial section
where people can register him/her profile and easily find life partner & also you can see news, events
and also connecting to different people to latest information & news.

Overview:

It helps us to manage all sections or transactions in an easily sorted manner. The project “Matrimonial
website” is developed to find the match between bride/groom according to their age, religion or caste.

User Characteristics:

> Administrator: The administrator of the company is allowed to access all the services in the system.
The username and password for the end user is given by the administrator.
> User: The user is allowed to access the services given by the administrator like ordering, billing etc.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENT:

Member Module: - Members are register users of our website. For becoming a member of site user
need to fill up registration forms with all detail. Member has to also fill up partner detail so we can give
best result as their partner detail. Members have to fill up life partner detail at the registration time so
based on detail we can give best match partner.

After login to site members can get advanced search facility to easily find life partner. They also check
profile of other member and send messages and using online chat facility.

Member Activities:-
1) Registration - Introduction: Only Admin can access the page.
Input: Admin has the authority to provide username and password for new users
Process Definition: Checks same username and password exists or not and also checks whether all the
fields are entered.
Output: Employee gets the username and password.

2) Login - Introduction: Authorized users are allowed to access.


Input: User enters the User type, Username and password.
Process Definition: Checks User type, Username and password is valid or not.
Output: User is directed to next page or shows the message box “Login Failed”.

3) Search - Introduction: Only Admin can access the page and check the report.
Input: Bride/groom
Process Definition: It retrieve’s all the information stored from different tables.
Output: Requested report is generated.

4) Messages - Payment gateway integration.

5) My Account
Input: bride/groom name, DOB, age, religion caste, contact, address
Process Definition: In the view module the user can view bride/grooms information which has already
been saved. The user can also add new information or edit the present information.
Output: New bride/grooms information is added to the table.

7) Partner Alert (Match module)


Input: type, bride/grooms name
Process Definition: the user can enter bride/grooms information and on a single click can find the
perfect match to the corresponding bride/groom.
Output: The match can be found or not.

10) Security Requirement - A password is given to the SQL server.
11) Subscription module
12) Reports date wise, monthly, match wise, city wise etc.
13) Profile recommendation - Using profile match algorithm.

Administrator and the end user, who have their own user name and password, have only the right to
open / access the panel.

Visitor Module: - Visitor is also a member of our website, but there is some restriction on his activities.
Visitor Profile cannot display in search result and visitor cannot check full profile of other members.

At the registration time visitors have not to fill up full address detail, they have to only fill up personal
detail and partner detail. Visitor cannot use message services and online chat services.

– GUI is provided by the software which is self-explanatory.


– User friendly forms, menus and options are contained by the software.
– Designing of the product has to be studied by the developer.
– Software gives warnings with necessary assistance to the clients.

SAFETY STEPS: - Backups can be done regularly.
