Pre Execution Checks
1 Is it the methodology approved prior to start the work?
2 Is it the latest approved drawings available at site?
3 Is it the surface on which Frames to be fixed free from moist, dust and other

Is it the material to be used same as source/pattern approved?
5 Is it the Material Test Certificate submitted and verified prior to start the work?
6 Are the required tools available for the work?
7 Is it the required quantity of Material available at site?
During Execution Checks:
8 Is it the works areas , all floors slabs, parapets if any completed prior to start of work?
9 Is it the Control point, benchmarks and datum line prepared?
10 Is it the coordinates marked by using Total station ?
11 Is it the Aluminum door and window frames made by approved vendor?
12 Is it  the members fabricated from standard sections and of approved make?
13 Is it the cutting and drilling done by machine and not by hand tool?
14 Is it while fixing the frames, screws used as per given specification and of approved
15 make?
Is it ensured that the corners of door, window are at right angle?
16 Is it the frame in straight line and in plumb?
17 Is it checked that the doors and windows frame free from cracks, surface flaws?
  it completed installation checked to ensure the smooth sliding/opening/closing of

windows/doors and in compliance with contract requirements, specification etc.?

6 Is it the required quantity of Material available at site?
During Execution Checks:
7 Is it the Glass checked for type, size, thickness and imperfections?
8 Is it the glazing works done by skilled/specialized personnel?
9 Is it the glazing installation works are carried out as per approved drawing?
10 Is it the Glass is fixed to the frame using the approved method and as per the manufacture’s
instruction?
11 Is it the Sealants used/applied in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations?
12 Is it the excess sealing material is removed from the finished surface and glass and
frame are cleaned after fixing?
13 Is it all waste and scrap material removed for disposal and entire work area is cleaned
and left in a safe condition?
