Measuring input resp. measuring inputs Accuracy data (acc. to DIN/IEC 770)
Resistance thermometer Type Pt 100 (DIN IEC 751) Basic accuracy Max. error + 0.5%
Measuring current < 1 mA including linearity and repeatability
Input resistance Ri > 4 M errors for a standard range
Lead resistance Two - wire connection 25 per 0 ... 1000 C and for reference
lead ( total 50 conditions.
Three - / four - wire connection Additional error < 0.35 % for linearised
25 per Lead (additive) characteristic.
Temperature range Two - wire connection Influence of lead — Two - wire connection :
- 150 ... 8000C resistance Compensated by potentiometer
Three - / four - wire connection — Three - wire connection :
- 170 ... 8000C 0.15 K of measuring range
Min. span 50°C per 10
Max. span 700°C Lead resistance
Example 1 : Range -150°C to 800°C 0.375 K total
Lower side possible range is -150°C to 550°C (Span=700°C) — Four - wire connection :
Higher side possible range is 100°C to 800°C (Span=700°C) 0.1 K of measuring range
Example 2 : Range 0°C to 45°C or -20°C to 10°C per 10
These ranges are not possible because Min span required is Lead resistance
50°C whereas available span is less than 50°C 0.375 K total
Selector switch for
Max. initial value : Two - wire connection 4000C 0...20 / 4...20 mA ± 0.1%
Three-/four - wire connection 5000C
