Weekly Progress Report - Week 04

The intern was assigned to add player animations and build the game environment at Arimac Lanka during the reported period. Specifically, the intern obtained 3D assets from resource teams, added animations to the player character, and created the game environment by placing components in the virtual space. later than 11:59 p.m. on the Monday following the week in review.

• Interns are strongly encouraged, but not required, to discuss their reports with their industry
supervisor each week.
• Please obtain the comments from your industry supervisor for the Report Nos: 4, 8, 16 and 20
and upload a scanned copy/image to Moodle. A separate evaluation sheet will be used for mid-term
and final evaluations by the industry supervisor.

1. Describe your main assignments and responsibilities for this report period.

I had lot of tasks to finish in this week. Last week I finished player movements. This week I had to
add animations to player to demonstrate his actions. Also, I had to build the environment for the
game. I contacted the guys who develop 3d models and animations for the games in the company
and I got all the assets I needed. Then I create player animations and created the environment by
adding all the necessary components in the space. I also had to build the game logic as player
start to move from the shuttle to his partner. I had to handle all the collisions with asteroids and
other environmental objects. I also had to limit the players moveable area so that player will not
be wondering around in an empty space.
