Experiential learning: The institution offers experiential learning for students with the following
approaches:
1. Laboratory Sessions: Laboratory sessions are conducted for better understanding of
theoretical concepts.

2. Internships: Internships are provided to the Students through MOUs with the industries.
Mr. Chinni Varshith Reddy, student from CSE has completed internship for a period of one month
from 03.07.19 to 02.08.19 from Institute of Systems, Technology and Management, BDL, Hyderabad.
Ms. Akshitha Saxena student of ECE has completed internship for a period of one month from
23.12.2019 to 22.01.2020 from Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

4. Industry driven competition: Encouraged to participate in competitions & HACATHONS
conducted by reputed organizations to showcase their creative ideation and talent.
Students of Matrusri Engineering College entered into Grand finale of “Smart India
Hackathon-2020” and got an opportunity for virtual interaction with Honorable Prime
Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi on 01.08.2020.
SAE TIER - I events conducted by Mechanical department for 11 Technical events under which
“Welding Process” on Oct 2018.

5. Integrated tools: Students are encouraged to enroll in online courses like NPTEL-SWAYAM,
COURSERA, CODE-TANTRA, CISCO and Spoken Tutorial.
Mr. Surya Datta Sudhakar, student of MECH has successfully completed a course on “Two
Phase flow and Heat Transfer” offered by NPTEL from Jan-Feb 2020.
Mr. Akshay Maddela, student of CSE has successfully completed a Coursera certificate course on
“Python Data Structures” offered by Michigan University on 29 Sep 2020.

Problem solving methodologies: Problem Solving Methodologies are processes through which a
situation or issue may be analyzed, and solutions implemented.
16. Hands-on training programs: In every semester, the students will undergo the training activities to
explore on industry and advanced technologies.
A 3 Day Work shop on “Working with STAAD-pro-Hands on Experience” by department of Civil from 7th
to 9th Aug 2019.
Department of ECE has organized two-day workshop on “Hands on training PCB Design” on

17. Project Based learning: Students get an opportunity to design and develop projects by information
gathering, investigating, analyzing and demonstrating on real time challenges.
Students of EEE Department developed a simple low cost “Wireless GSM Energy Meter” with web interface for
automatic billing and managing the collected data globally in the Academic year 2017-18.
Students of ECE Department developed a simple low cost “IoT Air monitoring System” in the Academic year
2018-19.

for learning, including additional web-resources, video-lectures, animated demonstrations and self-
evaluation.
Students of ECE Department are implementing “Digital Signal Processing Laboratory” programmes
using Virtual labs.
