Final Portfolio
Part I: Where You
Want to Be
I.1. What
Leadership Means
to You
• My still life was illustrated to
embody a well-rounded leader. My
vision of this has not changed. The
cutting board from my
grandmother representing the
passing down of knowledge is still
key to a leader’s success.
Reflecting on the last 7 weeks has
shown me how versatile a leader
has to be to achieve success in
their role. A leader must not only
share knowledge but challenge
and inspire others along the way.
• top five core values:
Authenticity
Accountability
Trustworthiness
Positivity
Self-motivation
I.2. Core • In my still life I illustrated what leadership meant to me
using my grandmas cutting board, an Apple Watch, a

Values reoccurring bill statement, glasses, and a plant. The plant

was a representation of equality and uniqueness. This
correlates to authenticity. Each leaf being similar to each
other, but no two leaves are exactly the same. I value
authenticity and staying true to who you are as an
individual. The reoccurring bill ties into being accountable
for your actions and other’s trusting you to abide by your
commitments.
I.3. Future Vision
• To achieve academic and professional success
that enables me to support my family
emotionally, mentally, financially and with joy
while instilling my core values into their growth.
Part II: Where
You Are
II.1. Sociogram
II.2. Leadership
Practices Inventory
Assessment
II.3. Learning Style
Inventory Assessment

• I am both a visual and auditory learner. I

learn best when I can read the concepts,
digest the material and then have a
discussion about what I’ve learned or what
I am still struggling with. The course was
extremely beneficial in that way for me
because I was able to read through the
course material, watch a movie applying
the learning objectives and have a peer
group to support our understandings of the
concepts for the week.
II.4. Limiting Assumptions
• My single biggest limiting assumption is not having
time.
• In life you create time for the things that matter most to
you. I can remember not putting my name in for a
promotion even though I was encouraged to my upper
management for fear of not having enough time to
dedicate to additional responsibilities.
III.5. What Matters Most
to You
• Family (relationships)
• Experiences (memories)
• Goals
• The relationships we build help to
shape who we are, our beliefs and
what we choose to value. Creating
shared experiences with others and
having memories contribute to our
perception and how we react to
certain situations based on life events,
no matter the size. Finally, goals I have
always been a forward thinker. I like to
have a plan and consistently be
working towards my next goal.
Part III: Getting
from Where You
Are to Where You
Want to Be
III.1. Competency I need to continue to reflect on my progression personally and
professionally. I’m committed to maintaining my health both physically
Development and mentally. Lastly, I must strengthen my study habits in order to pursue
Strategy a higher degree.
• Past coaching conversations have been in a
professional setting from either myself to an
employee or a supervisor providing feedback
to me. In this course my peers are like to me.
They work full time, have a supportive family
and are very close to graduation. Having the

III.2. Coaching coaching conversations with peers makes the

feedback a bit more relatable. I value their
opinions not because my job depends on their
Relationship(s) views but because they genuinely care about
my success with no strings attached.
• I plan to continue to ask for feedback either
organically in conversation with peers or in a
more formal request. Their feedback has
contributed to my reflections and self-
awareness.
III.3. • Being cognizant to my own learning style
is extremely beneficial, not only to myself

Learning
but to others. If I can effectively
communicate what it is that I need to
learn, I can collaborate with others to help
them do the same. A large part of being a

Style and
leader is having the flexibility to cater your
style to your audience. This in turn will
strengthen the relationships around you
because others will gain your trust and

Flexibility have a sense of comfort, feeling valued by

your accommodations.
III.4. Action Plan
How will you monitor your progress?
1. Placing my phone on silent to eliminate
any distractions while I study.
2. Exercising for an hour 4-5 times per week
3. Notate my progression no matter the
direction.

In order to monitor my progression is to get a

gym partner, record the screen time on my
phone and start a journal to record my growth.
III.5. Integrated Timeline

Conclusion
• This was a creative way to summarize and
highlight the course. Reflecting is one
driving force I’ve mentioned needing to
continue to support reaching my goals and
the final portfolio aided in just that. It was
tough to be vulnerable to address my fear
of not having time for additional
responsibilities but prioritizing what is
important helps to alleviate that fear. I can
not wait to look back on this portfolio in
December of 2023 when I have
accomplished some of my goals in
astonishment of myself and all my hard
work.
