Website Design Technology

DURATION: 6 WEEKS (3 hrs a day) FEE: RS. 5500/-

ELIGIBILITY: B.E / B.TECH. 2ND OR 3RD YEAR STUDENTS

1. Highlights & Eligibility

The course will put more concentration on the following areas: -

• Content Creation and Image Editing.


• Website designing using Dreamweaver, Flash, CSS

The students who have completed 4 semesters of study in an AICTE approved


college are eligible.

2. Duration

90 hrs [6 weeks @ 5 days/week for 3 hrs /day]

3. Teaching Methodology

The method of delivery is the combination of both classroom lectures and


independent project work/practical. Participants will spend around 70% of the
coursework working on projects and therefore this course is a highly practical
based course. Throughout the project work, participants will have access to
experienced faculties for tips and guidance.

4. Course Contents

-1 COMPUTER GRAPHICS (15 Hrs)

This module gives total expertise in image editing using Adobe Photoshop and
builds knowledge to look in-depth at some of the more advanced techniques
used in the industry. Photoshop is loaded with powerful tools for prepress image
preparation, colour correction, retouching, enhancement, special effects, file
format, conversion and web graphic formatting. It also features tools for image
composition, close cropping, superimposition and high-end layering effects.

-2 FLASH (30 Hrs)

This course covers the basics of creating interactive elements using Adobe’s
Flash. Topics covered include:

Flash interface, Importing bitmap elements, Overlays and layers, various


animation techniques. Symbols

Adding and editing sound, Creating interactive buttons, Frame action, Creating
and editing vector-based media within Flash, Introduction to Action scripting.

-3 HTML/CSS/Dreamweaver (30 Hrs)

This module builds on the skills and knowledge covered in Computer Graphics
and FLASH technique. Adobe’s Dreamweaver is loaded with powerful tools for
creating websites. It also provides tools for Animating layers. Adobe’s
Dreamweaver is industry standard for creating elegant website.

-4 WEB HOSTING, SITE PROMOTION AND PROJECT WORK (15 Hrs)

This module gives participants to build web design projects based on the tools
they have learned.

HOW TO APPLY: For Admission, submit your college


reference/training letter along with fee of Rs 5500/-. Seats are limited
and admission is on first come first serve basis.

NOTE: Fee once deposited is neither refundable nor transferable from


one course to another course.
