(i) Why did it make sense for Seema to round off the number of books?
It made sense for Seema to round off the number of books because –
She felt that it will be exact number of books.
(ii) Why did she round off the number of fiction books to 3000 instead of 4000?
She round off the number of fiction books to 3000 instead of 4000 because if
we will round 3150 to nearest thousand it will be 3000 only not 4000.
(iii) Would she have rounded off to 4000 if there were 4417 reference books?
Why. Yes because if we will round 4417 to nearest thousand it will be 4000.
