1. Identification of the Problem: Lack of effective leadership from supervisor which causes

loss of motivation and enthusiasm among workers.

2. Establishment of the Problem- The workers did not feel motivated enough to work in the

new hall even though the working conditions in the old hall were very poor..

3. Objective related to the problem- Encourage and guide workers to work efficiently in the

hall of the new loom and ensure high productivity.

4. Generation of Alternatives –

• Routine follow-up should be done with workers asking their concerns.

• An increase in wages can lead to employee motivation.

• Make workers feel honored and honored to work in the new building as they felt when they

worked in the old building.

• New group managers with better communication skills can be hired to increase motivation

among workers and ensure work is done in an organized manner.

6. Evaluation of Alternatives Against Criteria-

Alternative 1- Regular follow-up to follow with workers to ensure all problems can be resolved

and workers can stay motivated

Criteria 1- This can be time consuming as there are many workers.

Criteria 2- There are no costs involved in evaluating worker feedback.

Criteria 3- This will be very difficult to implement as every aspect needs to be kept in mind

before resolving worker complaints, but it will create a lasting impact.

Alternative 2- Increased wages for workers or additional incentives to be provided based on

productivity.

Criteria 1- This can be easily implemented as it is not a complicated procedure, but once

implemented it will have a lasting impact as the morale of the workers will be strengthened.

Criteria 2- This will encourage workers to produce maximum performance and give their best

which will also result in good product quality.

Criteria 3- This is time consuming because a lengthy procedure is required to evaluate the

performance of workers.

Alternative 3- Make workers feel happy and honored to work in the new warehouse as they felt

when they worked in the old.

Criteria 1- This can take a long time because it is not easy to change the mindset of workers

Criteria 2- Easy alternative because it does not require large amounts of money which requires

investments.

Criteria 3- This can have a big impact because workers will feel motivated enough to produce

maximum results.

Alternative 4- A new group manager with better communication skills can be hired to increase

motivation among employees and ensure work is done in an organized manner .

Criteria 1- This will take less time as other supervisors may concentrate on other activities

temporarily new managers will be able to dedicate time only to workers.

Criteria 2- Some costs will be involved because the new manager must also be paid for the

work.

Criteria 3– This can have a big impact as workers will feel compelled to get this special service

and increase their level of trust.

8. Action Plan

According to the analysis, the most effective alternative option 2 is to increase wages and

provide additional benefits to workers. This will ensure continued motivation among the 4,444

workers. They may feel obligated to do better for the company and will remain proactive

throughout the year.

9. Contingency Plan

The contingency plan will consist of hiring a new manager with special skills to boost the morale

of workers. A good leader brings out the best among subordinates. This new manager will have a

different perspective and approach in providing workers which will generate motivation among

workers and will eventually lead to higher production levels.
