INSTRUCTIONS: 

Read the following situations and answer the questions critically by using the principles and
concepts in morality.
Situation 1: Your scheduled quiz for the quarter in a particular subject was extremely difficult. Besides, you were
given several course requirements and activities in all your subjects and you were so busy in trying to
comply with all of them. You were thinking and eventually call your friends in the same level and they
gave you a copy of their answers on the activities. Would you copy the answers of your friends? Why
or why not?
No, I will not copy my friend’s answer. I would rather engage them to study with me even just a few minutes. At
least I can answer the test honestly even though I knew I would get a low grade. I would just try my best next time
and strive hard. I would not let myself down just because I have a low grade. I would rather learn from my
mistakes and make it as a lesson so that I won’t repeat the same mistake again.

Situation 2: You were on your way home when two bystanders grabbed you at your back and punched you on
various parts of your body with the intention of stealing your cellphone and essential things. You
fought back fiercely, hitting them too. Eventually, a roving policeman came to your rescue, driving
away your attacker. Would you feel bad about hitting back at your attacker? Why or why not?

For me I think not. I think they deserve it since they were the first one who harmed me. I am just a person. I also
feel the pain, hatred, anger and fear. But if they have a valid reason in doing such harmful acts, I
would forgive them if they apologize to me.

Situation 3: You are sent by our school to attend a meeting. Unfortunately, the hotel where you are staying is on fire.
You can manage to flee from your room. However, your teachers are trapped in one room and your
classmates in another. Will you rescue your teachers and classmates? Why or why not?
 
If I have the chance to save them why not. I will save them as much as I can. But if for example something is
blocking the way and it is impossible for me to save them, I would tell the firefighters that there are still people
who are trapped inside the burning building so that they can save them since they have the capability to do it.
