I am immensely happy to be writing a letter of recommendation for Ms.

Pratigya Parihar, who was a


student of Master of Science in Department of Statistics, Government Motilal Vigyan Maha
Vidyalaya, Bhopal from 2017-19. I was the co-guide of her M.Sc. project titled “Data analysis for
condition of agriculture in India Using ISS (Indian Statistical Survey)”. I am confident that she
possesses the necessary dedication and tenacity required to succeed as a doctorate student at
Massey University New Zealand.

During her project timeframe, she regularly visited me to discuss her ideas and updated me on the
progress of her study. Throughout the course of her project, she showed keen interest in developing
a practical understanding of SQC tools like ANOVA, control charts, sampling techniques, estimation
and distribution theory. She is an attentive, responsible, and hardworking student. I was impressed
by the dedication she showed towards the surveying and monitoring work necessary for her project.
She was always curious to learn more about the sustainable techniques used in agriculture. During
her project, she demonstrated the ability to work independently with enthusiasm. She showed
abundance of resilience and perseverance to collect building data in different seasons of the year.

Pratigya has the ability to communicate relevant information in a clear and precise manner. I always
admired her decency and respectability towards her professors. I strongly recommend her for a PhD
program at your university as I believe she is capable of being an asset to any academic institution.
