1. Audit plan: It is a document that the leader of the designated audit team designs and
distributes, days prior to each audit, must carry out a more detailed planning of the audit,
the degree of detail and the content of the audit plan.
2. Audit: It is the process of meticulous evaluation of a society or organization with the aim
of knowing its specific characteristics, as well as its strengths and weaknesses
3. Report: The opinion is the document signed by the Public Accountant in accordance with
the standards of his profession, regarding the nature, scope and result of the examination
carried out on the financial statements of the entity in question.
4. Accounting: Part of the economy that studies these systems or the different items that
reflect the financial movements of a company or entity.
5. Documents: record of audit procedures performed, relevant audit evidence obtained, and
conclusions reached by the auditor (the term "working papers" is sometimes used
synonymously).
6. Accounting Documents: It is a document that justifies and accredits an accounting
operation, be it an invoice, a receipt, a proof of payment or a bill of exchange.
7. Internal control system: Internal control is the system by which an administrative effect of
an economic society is generated.
8. Work papers: Working papers are generated from the accounting record, they are used to
perform an analysis or examine the accounting movements of a company.
9. Execution: In this phase, different types of tests and analyzes are carried out on the
financial statements to determine their reasonableness.
10. Risk: Audit risk means the risk that the auditor will give an inappropriate audit opinion
when financial, administrative, operational or managerial information is misrepresented in
a material way.
11. Audit models: The purpose of a model audit is to ensure that the model returns reliable
results.
12. Financial statements: Financial statements, also called annual accounts, financial reports
or accounting statements, are a reflection of a company's accounting and show its
economic structure.
13. Sampling: Scientific research tool whose basic function is to determine which part of a
population under study should be examined in order to make inferences about said
population.
14. Cash register: is the count of all money transactions in a given period.
15. Social object: It is the set of activities for which the company was established as a subject
of rights and obligations.
16. Evidence: It is the documentation used by the auditor to reach the conclusions on which
he bases his opinion.
17. Financial reports: They are reports used by institutions to publicize the economic and
financial situation.
18. Accounting error: Accounting errors are the omissions and inaccuracies in the financial
statements of an entity.
19. Taxes: Amount of money that must be paid to the Administration to contribute to the
public finances.
20. Normativity: the institutional forms through which behavior is socially configured.
