STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am glad to introduce myself as RAMU. I am aspiring to pursue my Master’s in


Business Analytics from your esteemed University. To embrace a Master's degree in the
field of Business Analytics, to be a part of the powerful technological workforce are the
objectives of my Graduate Study. MS in management is probably going to add wings to
my professional aspirations which I have painstakingly sketched for the last few years
and suits best to my interest.

Right from my school, I had a penchant towards Mathematics, Science and


management in general. And I always had an intense passion for computers, and my quest
for knowledge in this particular domain has been deepened and my ardent love for the
realm of computers is never dying. I was fascinated by Business Analytics space which has
captured Centre stage in decision making as never before. Organizations are increasingly
relying on this to provide support in decision making in operational activities,
management functions and effectiveness in its various business areas and trend is
emerging worldwide. It inspired me to learn how data, information technology, statistical
analysis, quantitative methods and computer-based models provides a wide range of
decision-makers for all kind of possible scenarios to take a decision. I have been successful
in accomplishing each and every academic milestone in my life as a student. Since the
beginning of my school days, puzzles and problems intrigued me. As a result, Mathematics
and Science have always been my favorite subjects.

Stating with my academics, I’ve accomplished my Primary education at Usha


English medium high school with a percentage of 85%, my school had helped me in the
field of science and management, right from the initial stages, with different techno fests
and science expos. I completed my Secondary education under the Board of Intermediate
Education, Andhra Pradesh at Sri Sai Aditya Junior College with 70% percentage. I
pursued my undergraduate program in GANDHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND
MANAGEMENT with 84% percentage. After completion of under graduate I worked in
SEVEN as a business Analyst.

Reason for not choosing India:


Before reaching a scale similar to other countries, India’s analytical education has not yet
covered many areas. I am satisfied with the knowledge I have gained over the years of
studying in India, but I am not particularly happy. Unable to update its education system
with modern technology and sufficient research, the system still detects that theoretical
knowledge takes precedence over practical learning. Understanding-based methodology,
balanced curriculum, research-oriented technology, practical skills, etc. have hardly
become part of Indian universities and their autonomous systems. But in Canada, education
standards have always been the government's top priorities, although it focuses on the
perfect balance between theoretical and practical knowledge. The international
perspective I gained from studies in Canada always helps me open up a wide range of
opportunities in my career, and the practical knowledge acquired at university will
accompany me in the professional business world.

Why MS in Business analytics:

We live in a business-oriented world and to fit its first place, I believe that one needs to
acquire through an understanding of how thus world works. It’s with intention that I took
up a course I.e. bachelors of computer’s. Now, this is how my thought process worked but I
still had to form a concrete career plan, And it's while working on this front that I came
across the Masters in Business analytics program offered by your esteemed university,.
While going through your course structure I realized that it fits in perfectly into my
interests’ felt that the international perspective and practical skills which are imparted
through you’re Masters in Business Analytics programmer whooped help me towards
attaining my goal of establishing a business enterprise someday in the future. And this is
exactly what prompted me to apply for this course. Also, the global experience that your
institution extends would help me gain knowledge regarding every business economy
there is and excel in the global market.

Why Franklin university:

Franklin University is one of the finest universities in the USA, which provides an enriching
learning experience to the students and creates a holistic personality for all the students.
The University offers work-integrated learning for all the students enrolled in various
programs. Your great institution provides an ideal learning environment and a perfect
balance between theoretical concepts and practical exposure. Studying at your esteemed
university will offer an excellent experience in education, practical exposure, cultural mix,
and learning in new environments. Pondering over all the above points, I determined to
pursue a course from this incredible University.

I aspire to utilize the MS in business analytics skills my experiences and projects have made
me realize the gaps in my knowledge, and I want to fill those gaps over the next two years. I
am confident that I will succeed in pursuing advanced studies in Business analytics, given
my academic background and a keen interest in Business analytics. I hope to be a part of
your esteemed University this year.

My Incentives to return to India:


The two year journey will allow me to learn more about the ever-changing technology
and help me gain experience in the field. I plan to return to India for work after
completing my master's degree in analytics. I plan to use my skills at this respected
university in my own country, with the goal of becoming a member of leading Indian
companies such as Deloitte, IBM, TCS and Wipro. Working with these companies will
enrich my work profile and liberate my professionalism. India is a country with more and
more opportunities in the field of business analysis, so I will have a lot of room for growth.
Nevertheless, there are other factors that will lead me back to India, such as my long-term
vision family friends & etc…
