Position paper

“One child policy; Applicable to the Egyptian Society or Not” 

In the last fifteen  years,the  Egyptian  government  has  partnered


with  different
international donor agencies to achieve  an ambitious population control
program
that is based on the assumption that rapid population growth is a prime
obstacle
to reaching the  developmental  goals  set  by  the  Egyptian  government.
But that’s not enough or not have totally decrease solution. China in the
1970s,
prohibits Chinese couples from bearing more than  one child. Additional
children
would result in fines. The policy was introduced t
minimize social, economic and
environmental  problems,  and  authorities  claim  that  it  has  prevented 
about  400
million births. But in other side egypt too have their on side or own aspects in
living like in social life, academics or cultural etc. Could this policy ever be
applied to egypt? No it’s hard because of their living lifestyle.

The  policy  has  been  proved  to  have  violated  human


rights and individual freedom by limiting people’s reproductive rights, which
are
recognized as basic human rights.

For me, people in every country should learned proper sex education to avoid
curiousity or have more knowledge about it because in this generation “sex”
are normal for others they see and chit chatting with others and somehow
they become curious about it. The older ones should teach it because some
of the people are lack of knowledge about it they doing that for the enjoyment
so for me “sex education” is very important in every country especially the
poor country or the need country most, more people it’s hard to handle it.
