Anaconda navigator Installation
• Step 1: Obtain Anaconda
• Visit the Anaconda downloads page: www.anaconda.com/downloads
• The Anaconda Downloads Page will look something like this:

• Step 2: Select Windows

Step 3: Download - Download the most recent Python 3 release. At the time of writing, the most recent release was the Python
3.6 Version.

• Step 4: Open and run the installer Step 5.1: Then agree to the license.

Step 5: At the beginning of the install, you need to


click Next to confirm the installation.

• Step 5.2: At the Advanced Installation Options screen, I recommend that
you do not check "Add Anaconda to my PATH environment variable" Step 6: Open the Anaconda navigator from the Windows
start menu
Starting Jupyter notebook
• On anaconda navigator, click on launch under jupyter notebook This will start up Jupyter and your default browser
should start (or open a new tab) to the following
URL: http://localhost:8888/tree
