The owner and founder of FHmoms, Maria Korina Cope-Bertulfo is a single mom way
back then who deals with traffic with her daily commute, and the hassle of coming home late at
night to her baby. She doesn't have time for her family and for herself as well, so she finally
decided to resign and went to onlinejobs.ph to apply for a job and was very fortunate because
after a couple of hours she finished her profile a client called her and offered her P35,000 per
month and started to work right away. That's when she started to start helping and after few
months, she hired other friends and members of Filipina homebased moms. It started as a
supported group on Facebook for Maria Korina Cope-Bertulfo, a few friends until they gained
over 20,000 members over the Philippines and outside the country. The engagement of the moms
increases their self-determination and give them the skills and self-confidence they need to enter
the workforce. She assigned trainers for the newbies and new mommies. She conducted and
online group coaching as well as workshop events. And today they gained 90,000 members in
their support group via FB which she named Filipina Homebased Moms. This improves the
delivery and quality of public services, enhance the management of public finances, and bring
about greater transparency, accountability, and social inclusion, resulting in tangible
improvements in people's lives

 The process involved for having a successful planning and execution.

Committing to a strategic plan is a must in starting an organization. Without goals, planning is
meaningless. Purpose of the plan is to achieve the goals of the business and help reach its vision
and mission. A first step is to reexamine the business mission statement and the goals associated
with it. Set realistic deadlines. Maria Korina Cope-Bertulfo provides sufficient time and money
for the planning process. She makes good assumptions about the industry and market
environment and focus on results. She aligned jobs to strategies after setting an overall goal for
your business and how to develop a plan to achieve them is necessary step. The founder, Maria
Korina Cope-Bertulfo, analyze and understand the business' mission, vision, strategy, and goals.
She determines where and how learning will impact the achievement of business goals and
validate the alignment of the learning and development plan with the business plan with a simple
question "how?". The founder job requirements are more focused and specific of knowing you
need to hire and knowing why you need to hire. She started communicating better and build trust.
She communicates clearly to empower employees. By aligning all your actions and words
together you can ensure your team gets the right message every time and avoid
miscommunication and misinterpretations. This empowers employees because they know
precisely how their daily tasks fit into their roles. She conducted and online group coaching as
well as workshop events to help them know better and let them know how to handle certain
situations. Measuring, tracking, and reporting performance to meet the organization's
strategic goals without any difficulties. This will help to calibrate those goals by providing insight
into where someone is doing well and could be stretched and areas that are not a strength yet.
Based on performance feedback, self-reflection and business needs, employees should then set
their own goals. Balancing Innovation and Control to have progress and changes to stay
relevant and competitive in market, to stay ahead in the market. It will also help you take
advantage of new technologies. Balancing innovation will grow your business and it means
ultimately, increasing your profits, reduced costs, improved brand recognition and value, new
partnerships and relationships which helps FHMOMS to grow even more.
