Morphology is the study of grammatical units within words, while syntax is the grammatical organization of sentences. While morphology examines word forms, syntax examines the relationships between constituents in a sentence. Morphology and syntax are independent but complementary in language learning - morphology refers to the parts of words that create meaning, while syntax refers to word order and usage. Both are important for deriving meaning from language, but they study different aspects and do not have the same position in language learning.

The Relationship of Morphology and Syntax

After studying the material of initiation, please share your opinion about how Morphology and Syntax
are related to each other. Do they both have the same position to learn language?
Answer

Morphology is the study grammatical units of words, syntax is the grammatical organization of
sentences.

*The Relationship of Morphology and Syntax

Morphology and syntax are independent of each other in their basis. Morphology
researches forms, syntax researches the relationship between constituents.
Therefore, we should use different concepts for them.

Morphology is concerned with the study of word forms. A word is best defined in terms
of internal stability and external mobility

Syntax concerns the possible arrangements of words in a language. The basic unit is

the sentence which minimally consists of a main clause. Nouns and verbs are the major categories
and combine with various others, such as adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, etc. to
form more complex sentences.

*Do they both have the same position to learn language?

I think both Morphology and syntax are complementary but don't have the same
position. Syntax and morphology are both important to the way that people derive
meaning from language, but they are different in that syntax refers to the order and
use of words, and morphology refers to the parts of words that create meaning.

of internal stability (is it further divisible?) and external mobility (can it be moved to a different
position in a sentence?)

Syntax concerns the possible arrangements of words in a language. The basic unit is

the sentence which minimally consists of a main clause (containing at least a subject and predicate).
