MINUTES OF GENERAL PTA BOARD MEETING

February 9, 2022

Minutes of General PTA Meeting held last February 9, 2022 at exactly 1:00 in the afternoon at
the LRV Pavilion, Bula Central School, Bula Camarines Sur.

The meeting started with a prayer led by Mrs. Jovirosa P. Celebrado and followed by the Singing
of the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Mrs. Sheila S. Rana.
Afterwards, Mrs. Estrella Regonay as the Faculty Club President of Bula Central Faculty Club gave
the Opening Remarks wherein she started by giving courtesy to the attendees especially to the Principal
Mrs. Eden B. Sabauapan and to the General PTA President Mr. German Soreta. Before proceeding to the
main agenda Mrs. Estrella Regonay break the gap as it’s been a while since we had the last meeting with
the parents by a “Kurumustahan”. Followed by little of introduction about the agenda. She also states
the upcoming different evaluations that the school will have and explained as well as reminded the
parents that it will be a SUCCESS if they will give their FULL SUPPORT as one of the major stakeholders of
the school.
Mrs. Eden B. Sabaupan as the new Principal of Bula Central School also gave her message. She
gave courtesy to the attendees and started her message by differentiating the School Year in the past
and in the present. She emphasized the role of the parents as the stakeholder of the school, it maybe in
Normal or in the New Normal of Education. She gave the reason why the school called up for the PTA
Meeting where for them to be oriented and be knowledgeable to what is happening in the school year
in times of pandemic.

The concerned teachers as the coordinators for the upcoming evaluations were introduced in
the Meeting.

Ma’am Estrella Regonay as the presider of the meeting brought up the main Agenda to bring
back the PTA Membership Form as it will be the budget to be allocated to the different activities.

Before giving the motion for approval, Mr. Karl Wendell Pontanal, Gen PTA Treasurer asked for
more information about where to put the budget for the PTA Registration.

The different coordinators of the upcoming evaluations gave orientation and presented their
programs and projects to the board.

 Ma’am Estrella Regonay was the first one who gave information about the Upcoming SBM
Evaluation Division level as she is the SBM School Coordinator. She explained how important the SBM
Validation and what is to be validated. She also gave the tentative schedule on March 11, 2022. She
cited the different expenses and the estimated budget needed for the said activity.

Next is Mrs. Salvacion Mediado as the Gulayan Coordinator. She gave orientation about her
programs and projects and mentioned that they already started planting. She is anticipating the
evaluation in May 2022 and asked for the full support coming from the board.

Mrs. Rowena Baldoza, SBFP Coordinator also tackled their programs and projects, and they are
also anticipating that the Evaluation will be after the Feeding program this School Year 2021-2022.

Ms. Salvacion Decena, WINS Coordinator oriented that WINS is more on the facility of the school
as a whole and the individual classroom facilities. She also mentioned about the 3 stars that the WINS
received last School Year in the Division Level Evaluation. She appealed to the help of the parents as this
needs more budget for the different repairs and beautification of the facilities. The tentative evaluation
will be in April. In connection with the WINS, Ms. Maria Del Rosario as the canteen manager bring up
what are needed in the canteen and the other things she already provided. She also mentioned about
the kitchen wares that are missing. Also, as part for the WINS is the School Clinic, the coordinator is
Mrs. Cherry Paldo. Mrs. Cherry Paldo mentioned about the dental facilities the school received and the
other medicines. She explained the one of the programs of the School Clinic which is the free dental
check up to teachers and pupils as well as parents may be included. But there still no date when it will
the start.
After all the coordinators presented their concerns, Mr. Karl Wendell Pontanal raised another query and
wants a clarification on how to collect and when to collect the PTA Membership fund. As they have
learned from the past experienced of collecting funds from the PTA.

The agreement with the board was the teacher will be the one to collect the Membership fee,
but it will be automatically endorsed to the GPTA treasurer in an agreement date for a better movement
of collection and for easy tracking of the members.

As there was no more questions and clarifications, the president Mr. German Soreta asked for
votation to approve the request to bring back the membership fee for General PTA and the result was
majority said YES. So, Mr. Calvin Bustarga finally do the motion of approval.

After the approval the next step is to relay to all the members of the General PTA about the
membership fee of 200 pesos. Mrs. Estrella Regonay as the presider and the faculty club president set a
by Grade Level meeting were the presiders will be the presidents who attended in each class. The
agreement schedule was:
A.M – Grade VI

 Mr. Karl Wendell Pontanal clarified if he still needs to attend to the other Grade Level and the
agreement was the member will attend only in the higher level where his/her pupil is enrolled. Another
was Mr. Wendell Pontanal reminded the teachers about the Solar Light and the repair for the
grandstand as this was the projects during his Presidency for it to be realized.

Before the meeting to adjourn Mrs. Farah Calixta Soreta gave the Closing Remarks and Word of
Thanks for the cooperation of all.
