Warning:
Check length of pin projecting end (K1) at all tele sections and every pinning hole (46%,
92%, 100%). The minimum projection is 6 mm. At maximum projection, the interlocking pin must not
project over the plastic cover (check under load). Adjust the pin projection by means of the distance
washers at the pin.

Assembly indications

Order of assembly of the tele sections

1.Check boom bearing application at tele section "V". Slide tele section "V" into tele section "IV" and
re-adjust boom bearing application (bottom and top) if necessary.
Check pin projection (refer to assembly indications) and re-adjust it if necessary.
Check distance from lower guide bar (2) to mushroom-shaped pull bolt (8) = 263 mm (see pre-
assembly tele sections) and adjust mushroom-shaped pull bolt (8) if necessary.
2.Check boom bearing application at tele section "IV". Slide tele sections "IV" to "V" into tele section "III"
and proceed as described under item 1.
3.Check boom bearing application at tele section "III". Slide tele sections "III" - "V" into tele section "II" and
proceed as described under item 1.
4.Check boom bearing application at tele section "II". Slide tele sssections "II" - "V" into tele section "I" and
proceed as described under item 1.
5.Install telescoping ram.
6.Check boom bearing application at tele section "I". Slide tele sections "I" - "V" into base section "GK".
7.Centre and fix head of telescoping ram to base section.
8.Extend all tele sections to 92 % and check their alignment to the base section or adjust if necessary.

Pre-assembly of tele sections I (II/III/IV/V)

• Lubricate slide surfaces in base section,

tele I, II, III and IV.

Pre-assembly tele sections I (II/III/IV/V)

• Mount bearing plates (1) and introducers

1 2 (3). Pre-assemble guide pieces (2) flush.
2
• Mount lower and upper guide bars (4) with
base plates.
Basic adjustment of guide bars (4):
4 185 mm 2 x 3 mm and 2 x 1 mm plates per bar.
Check distance of 185 mm and adjust it if
necessary.

5 • Pre-assemble plates (5), do not yet tighten

screws.

• Install interlocking pins into the telescopic

interlocking
pins sections.
Basic adjustment of pin projection:
distance
The basic adjustment of the pin projection
washers is relalized by distance washers.
Adjusting measures (K1), see under basic
adjustment tele sections.

Mounting tele sections I (II/III/IV/V)

• Measure pin travel H.

H

mounting screw • Unlock interlocking pin by turning in the

mounting screw (hexagon socket screw)
M12x2 / SW 6 mm).

• Insert tele sections into one another in the

respective order (see order of assembly
interlocking pin
of the tele sections).

• When sliding the tele sections into one

another, measure distance K3 from the
interlocking pin to the upper edge of the
K3

interlocking holes (46%, 92%, 100%).

The difference between pin travel H and
the distance K3 results in the pin
projection K1.
Example:
Pin travel H = 50 mm, K3 = 40 mm
Pin projection K1 = H - K3 =
plastic cover 50 mm - 40 mm = 10 mm
8 Reference values for K1 and K3, refer to
basic adjustment of tele sections.

Warning:
The interlocking pin must not project over
the plastic cover under load. Any correct-
ion of the pin projection by means of the
distance washers (see fig. 4).
