Reading is a very good habit that one needs to develop in life. There
is no better companion than a good book. Reading is important
because it is good for our overall well-being. Once we start reading,
we experience a whole new world. Recently I read Panchtantra by
Pt.Vishnu Sharma. This is a book of fables. It conveys messages to
live a simple life. Book reading benefits us in many ways. It is
important to read a good book at least for a few minutes each day to
strengthen vocabulary, sentence structure and to have better
language expressions.

Benefits of Early Rising
‘Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy,
wealthy and wise’. Early rising means the habit of getting up
from bed early in the morning. This habit is very useful in
various ways. The person who rises early in the morning, finds
time to do exercise or yoga in the morning air. The morning air
refreshes both our mind and body. This habit also enables us to
begin our day’s work early. On the other hand, a person, who
does not get up early, generally faces health problems. This
habit gives us an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature. The
natural beauty stimulates our feelings. So, we should adopt the
habit of early rising for the happiness and prosperity of our life.

Games are essential for humans at every stage of life to stay healthy. They
keep us healthy, fresh and strong and also improve our social life. Games not
only improve physical fitness but also keep us mentally fit .During the growth
years, children need to play games to help in their physical and mental
development. They provide exercise to the body and keep the muscles and
bones strong. They refresh the whole stress of the body and mind. They
increase our stamina and strength and also develop leadership qualities.
Indoor games help like carrom, ludo, chess help in increasing concentration
and hence develop people’s mental health. Outdoor games like running,
Cricket, hockey, kabaddi, kho-kho helps people in physical fitness. They also
teach us team spirit, time- management, punctuality and regularity. Because
of these reasons ,games and sports are an integral part of our education
system.
