HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS
Carefully before proceeding with the hydraulic
connections, ensure that the device is not plugged in.
Before installation, check if hydraulic system has been
set up accordingly to the rules of the art in force.
In the presence of elements causing “water hammering”
(solenoid valve, simultaneous control taps, etc.) it is
compulsory to protect the plant and the products with an
anti hammering appliance (expansion tanks, shock
absorbers, etc.).
Remove all kind of tension on the products (out of line
pipes, lengthening of the piping, flexion and vibrations)
by using a plastic wall bracket as a support. Connect the
products to the pipes using only cylindrical (BSP) pipe
fitting, preferably with flexible hoses. It is advisable to
install a BY PASS for maintenance and emergencies. To
seal the products joints use only TEFLON TAPE.
Check that the net pressure corresponds to that indicated
on the Technical Data plate.
Install a shut-off valve upstream of the system (in order
to ensure the interruption of water supply).
Connect, with a hose, the supply hole (on the blue filter)
to the hydraulic network.

The unit works with demineralized water. If you use water very rich in minerals, this will decrease
the life of the humidity system.
Use conditions:
• Demineralized water;
• Water pressure range 0,2÷5 bar;
• Water temperature range 10÷40 °C;
• The pipe connection is 3/4”;
• No organic compounds.

The wastewater is not toxic and can be discharged in waste water system, as defined by Directive
91/271/EEC concerning urban waste water treatment.
The unit is provided with a demineralizing filter that can work with drinking water. Please install it

THE EQUIPMENT EARTHING SYSTEM IS A
SAFETY STANDARD REQUESTED BY THE LAW.
OUR COMPANY HAS ARRANGED THIS
CONNECTION, ACCORDING TO THE
REGULATIONS IN FORCE; THEREFORE, THE
COMPANY CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE IN CASE
OF DAMAGE TO PEOPLE AND PROPERTY.
Do not use reducing devices, multiple plugs or cable
extensions; ensure that the electric installation and

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
In order to keep the ambient climate in the installation place within the limits established in the
technical data plate it can be necessary to install an air conditioning system. Such system should
control the relative humidity, as excessive humidity affects the good equipment operation.
The position of the box should limit or avoid the airflows. Do not install the box close to doors or
areas exposed to strong airflows, such as, for example, conditioning system, ventilation or heating
openings.

COMMISSIONING
Before connecting the machine to the power supply plug, leave the machine in stop position for at
least 1 hour. In case the machine has been transported in horizontal position, leave it in stop
position for at least 24 hours.

recycling of this product, contact the suitable local office, the city waste collection service or the
distributor from which product has been purchased or obtained.

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Before every intervention, the user has to disconnect the power supply plug. The refrigerator
mechanical parts do not need any periodic maintenance, but for a long-lasting life of the equipment,
periodic cleaning is fundamental:
• EXTERNAL BOX: just clean it up with a dry soft cloth, in case of resistant spots, use lukewarm water and
neutral detergents, then rinse well and dry.
• PARTS IN STEEL: wash with water and neutral soaps, dry with a soft cloth; do not use steel wool, as it
can damage the surface.
• PARTS IN PLASTICS: wash with water and neutral soaps. Rinse well and dry with a soft cloth, do not use
alcohol, acetone and other solvents, as they can damage the surface permanently.
• PARTS IN GLASS: use only specified products, do not use water, as it can build limestone on the glass
surface.

For the tank cleaning, proceed as follows:

1 Switch off the equipment and disconnect the plug from the power supply.
2 Take the products and the shelf put of the tank.
3 Leave the door open and wait until the tank temperature corresponds to the outside
temperature.
4 Wash and dry the internal tank with a cloth and neutral detergent.
5 Dry the drain pan condensate at the top right corner of the tank (if available).
6 Do not use water jets for cleaning, as they can damage the electric parts.
Then put the shelves back to their position and connect the equipment; after one hour of operation
with lights switched off, load the products.
Once per year, clean up the door gaskets with neutral soap and warm water. Rinse and dry; a light
layer of Vaselline should be applied in order to keep the gaskets soft and flexible. For this
operation, don not use sharp and pointed objects that could damage the gaskets.
CONDENSER CLEANING
Periodically check and remove from the condenser unit
the impurity (dust and deposit). The condenser will work
less efficiently if it is obstructed with foreign material so
it must be cleaned once a month. Before cleaning the
condenser switch off the appliance, disconnect the power
cord and proceed as follows:
Top-mounted unit: for units with fixed upper front panel,
use a safe step ladder for direct access to the condenser
located at the top of the appliance.
Use an air jet or a dry brush and, working with up and
down movements, remove any dust or fluff that has
deposited on the heat exchanger fins. In case of greasy
deposits, use a brush soaked in cleaning fluid. Start the
appliance after cleaning.

FILTER MAINTENANCE
Periodically clean the filter using ONLY cold water and
soft sponge (replace the filter bowl every 5 years at
least).
Before opening the filter: close the mains cock or
switch on the bypass, if installed, release the pressure
by unscrewing the breathe valve on the filter’s head;
unscrew inlet and outlet pipes (refers Errore. L'origine
riferimento non è stata trovata.).
To open the filter, unscrew the screws and remove the
bracket in the lower part of the filter. Enter from below
the wrench supplied with the unit and unscrew the
locking ring. Remove the lid manifold and then remove
the cartridge.
Replace the entire polyphosphate in the dosing units
when the load level drops below half the container;
however, it must be replaced every 6 months at most.
If not used for a long time: remove the cartridge or empty
