The institution which was established in 1892 as a small Sanskrit pathshala, has emerged today as a glorified institute of District Mathura It is the only educational institution which runs after the name of Thakur Shri Kishori Raman Ji Maharaj Virajman Mathura, and is functional in the name of a sacred temple .It has grown into six different educational institutes and aims at the intellectual and cultural development of society. Kishori Raman P.G. College, was established in 1947 & is affiliated to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra(Formerly Known as Agra University, Agra). At present, the College runs all the three streams in Arts, Commerce and Science and has achieved incessant success in all educational fields. The College is situated in the peaceful surroundings near Mathura City. All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced and render dedicated services to the College. The College has been achieving commendable results only due to the personal attention and involvement of the faculty member to the students. The number of students in each class is usually restricted to limited seats so that personalized attention can be provided to the students. All the laboratories in Science programme are well equipped with scientific equipment and well experienced and deserving teachers are appointed for the benefit of the students. The College has a big play ground in the campus and students are motivated to participate in sports and extra curricular activities. The college campus is established in 15-16 acres of land. It consists the infrastructure of Art, Commerce and Science, Reading rooms Library, Principals residence & play ground & still enough land is available for any further extension or developments.

B. Com. (Special) / Second Shift : (For third year only) Under the special scheme of the University the admission facility is available in this course. Research work : The college is also approved as a research institute. (a) (b) (c) In Arts faculty - English, Hindi, Political Science Sociology, Economics and Geography. In commerce Faculty - All the three groups conduct research work. In Science Faculty - Chemistry and Botany are well equipped with research facilities.
Vocational Course : For the benefit of students the vocational courses are conducted under the direction of the Principal. These courses are fully self financed,self sufficient and non-aided. (a) Diploma in Library and information Science
In library science for admission in diploma admission test is conducted. (b) Diploma in Business Management
Admission test is conducted for this course. (c) P.G. Diploma in computer programming
Under the new scheme of the University grants commission admission facilities are available in this self finance course.
Admission For admission in the college the admission committee of teachers is formed by the Principal and the committee will recommend to the Principal for admission. On the permission of the Principal the admission of any student would be regular and valid. Rules (a) Every student who has passed qualifying Exam from approved board or University can get admission to the classes of the college. (b) (c) Admission to the college will be given strictly according to the admission rules of the University (given in the appendix). (i) Students willing to seek admission to B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. Part I should submit their Application from along with the attested photo copies of the Intermediate marksheet, character-certificate, Transfer certificate of the Principal of the previous college, two passport size photos to the office of the college with Rs. 2/- as Registration fees till the fixed date. After the last date the application from will not be accepted in any condition and incomplete forms will not be considered. At the time of admission fees the Original Transfer Certificate and Character certificate will have to be submitted. No documents will be returned in Case of failure to get admission. Students willing to take admission to other classes should submit their application from alongwith the registration fees, with in the 15 days from the declaration of their results. In M.A. / M. Com. / M.Sc. Classes Separate application form should be submitted for Registration in different subjects /

In the condition of faculty change, failed students will not be admitted. In Arts faculty in B.A. (Part-I) the Subjects offered at the time of admission will not be allowed to change. So, applicant should offer subject carefully. In all the faculties (Arts Science Commerce) students passing part-I from other colleges will not be admitted to part Two and part three. All the notices regarding admission will be displayed on the notice board. The Principal has special power to cancel any admission. In Arts & Commerce faculties the students who have Passed part I examination as a private candidate can not be admitted to II / III Year as a regular students. Passed M.A. / M. Com. Previous as a private candidate can not be admitted to final year of post graduate classes as a regular students. The maximum number of seats allotted to different classes and reserved categories in different classes of the college is separately being given as under.

In right to admit or reject any Ex-student or new student is reserved with the Principal and his decision in this respect will be final.
(m) Such students who have college or departmental dues will not be given admission till they deposit the due with Rs. 25/- as a penalty. (n) On the acceptance of admission to college, the student will have to deposit dues for the full academic year. If he/she applies for cancellation of admission, then the dues will be charged up to the date of application. Every student and his guardian will have to assure on the discipline related proforma. In case of admission, it would be self-evident that he would follow rules of discipline. The Principal is fully authorized to suspend any student. The nontpayments of dues, unsatisfactory conduct, indiscipline, to cause damage to college property, unsocial demonstrations, strike, to disturb classes, use of weapons, to participate in destructive activities will lead to suspension of student and the principals decision would be final. On the proof of disqualification of any kind or production of false documents for the admission, the concerned students admission will be cancelled.

The admission of the student involved in any immoral conduct will be cancelled. Generally the optional subjects or groups chosen under the three year course will not be changed. So careful selection of these are expected. attendance of students concerning with Lecturers of , N.C.C. and other extra curricular activities and compliance of their rules is necessary guardians are requested to keep in contact with the principal and different departments. So that they could obtain the information of progress and other activities of their ward.

(u) No such students will be given admission as found punished due to the use of unfair means. (v) The time-table of different post-graduate and graduate classes can be changed according to the necessity and it is binding for every student.
(w) No such student will be admitted as has passed qualifying Examination two years before. (x) If any student wants to change the faculty after taking admission in part-I, it will be treated as new admission and it will be possible only on the merit set by the University rules. Ten days camp is necessary for the post graduate classes of Geography and its students will have to bear its expenditure. SPECIFIC RULES

college during the mid session, then apart from the fees till that period, an additional sum of Rs. 10.00 will be charged to provide N.O.C. in the mid-session. 2. Students, those who are passed out from other Universities and desire to seek admission in the college, shall not be enrolled till they submit the migration certificate. Subsequently they cant be accepted as the college student till the submission of migration certificate . If a student fails to submit University form in the college as per the due date, s/he will not be eligible to take university examination and none other but the student shall be liable for the lapse. The students who are unable to submit enrolment form, enrolment fees and migration certificate within the due date shall be charged Rs. 10.00 as additional fees, but if the student fails to get enrolled in the University in that case s/he shall not be allowed to appear in University examination. If a student fails to deposit college fees, any item of college property, N.C.C. kit or the amount of any lost item of the college which s/he is supposed to deposit by January the Principal has all rights to detain the student from appearing in the University Examination. If a students name is once struck off from the college list in the middle of academic session then the student loose all rights of the student of the college. The student is supposed to obtain the receipt of any money given to any employee of the college. The college shall not be responsible for any money given to any employee of the college without asking for receipt.

DISCIPLINE 1. To maintain proper discipline the college has constituted a discipline committee and has appointed an incharge to look after the discipline related issue. The discipline committee shall be duly constituted by the principal. The decision shall be important in all student disputes. The discipline committee hold the right to take action for any indisciplined behaviour. The student ought to maintain a decorum observe & disciplined conduct within and outside the college campus to save any bad name to the college. Any student found involved in any misconduct shall be rusticated. Student ought to display cooperation and humbleness while interacting with the members of the faculty. The student shall face punishment if found misbehaving with the teachers or fellow students. Students are strictly prohibited from entering into the office area as apart from hindering the work it also promotes indiscipline. STUDENTS FOUND INVOLVED IN RAGGING OF NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS SHALL BE RUSTICATED. FEE NOTICES Each student has right to obtain receipt of the fee paid to the college. The receipt is to be safe guarded for any future reference. No application for fee-refund shall be accepted without producing fee receipt. Student opting for M.A. Geography shall pay Rs. 25.00 per month towards laboratory charge and Rs. 30.00 towards annual practical examination. Student of Arts faculty shall pay Rs. 25.00 per month towards respective laboratory charges and Rs. 30.00 laboratory charge at the time of admission. Library charges shall be charged as Rs. 30.00 for under graduate and post graduate student at the time of admission. The science student shall pay laboratory charges of Rs. 30.00 for undergraduate & Rs. 50.00 for post graduate courses. Rs. 150/- shall be charged only once against University enrolment fees at the time of appearing for University examination for the first time. It is mandatory to pay Rs. 400/- for M.A/M.Com./ M.Sc. & Rs. 300/- for B.A. / B.Com./ B.Sc. as University as on fee at the time of admission Rs. 25/- shall be paid towards University Examination Form at the time of admission. Coordinators are appointed in each faculty to look after the issue related to re-admission. Student should contract the coordinators and not the Principal for this issue. PROCEDURE TO DEPOSIT FEE : The office shall give three copies of challan form bill to student giving details of first installment of fees at the time of admission. Bank, K.R. College, Mathura counter one of the copies shall be MEETING THE PRINCIPAL One can meet the Principal with prior appointment. The appointment can be obtained between 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. by providing the details including name and objective. The Principal should be approached in unavoidable circumstances only. In normal course the respective incharge can look after the issue. TRANSFER CERTIFICATE : To obtain transfer certificate the student should ensure that S/he has obtained a form from the office and a No Dues Certificate duly signed by an authorized signatory of the Principal & has deposited the same along with Rs. 2/- at the related clerk. The student shall receive transfer certificate within one week. There is no need to meet the Principal to obtain transfer certificate. CHARACTER CERTIFICATE : The college shall prepare & issue the character certificate once it receives the recommendations from the proctor and tallies the documents. It shall take three days. The student found guilty of misconduct shall not be awarded character certificate Rs. 2/- will be charged to issue duplicate character certificate. There is no need to meet the Principal in this regard. RAILWAY CONCESSION : According to the rules of Railway authorities the Railway concession forms are provided to the student to undertake home ward journey at the time of Summer vacations, winter vacations, Dueshera & Diwali holidays. Those students who desire to obtain railway concession must write their permanent address on the admission form.
ATTESTATION OF MARKSHEETS AND TESTIMONIALS : The N.C.C. officers of the college are authorized to attest the mark sheet and testimonials. There is no need to meet the Principal for this purpose. ATTENDANCE : According to University regulations each student must have 75% attendance. The principal can condone 5% and another 10% attendance can be conduced by VC for very specific purposes. But under no circumstances any student who has below 60% attendance shall be allowed to appear in the University exams. The college shall not inform student or parents any shortage of attendance each student is supposed to contact respective faculty members to update any short fall in attendance. COLLEGE DISPENSARY : The college dispensary is open on all working days between 4-5 P.M. One Doctor alongwith a part time compounder shall be available during these hours. The free treatment is given to all time student. College employees can also avail the services of the college dispensary but they shall not be provided any medicine. SPORTS & GAMES : There is a big play ground in the college campus. The college has provision for all types of indoor and outdoor game. The Principal is the Chairman, sports Director is Vice-Chairman and a Secretary of sports committee. N.C.C. The College has provision to include 160 cadets student in N.C.C. unit. The student of first and second year of B.A. / B.Com. & B.Sc. can opt for N.C.C. subject to the availability of vacant seat. The college have 1/11 company of N.C.C. of 160 cadets
N.S.S. The college has one unit of N.S.S. for Arts, Commerce & Science students. Those students who have not opted for N.CC. can select N.S.S. COLLEGE MAGAZINE: A College magazine is published to promote self expression and independent thought among the student. LIBRARY RULES: The college has a well equipped library which is enriched with new purchase of books every year. 1. Each student is a mandatory member of the library. 2. The student has to provide fee receipt and identity card to obtain library cards from the library. 3. The library is open on all working days between 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. There is provision for reading in the library any type of noise is strictly prohibited. 4. Each student can obtain books for self reading now ever Post graduate student can take two books of their subject. 5. The reference books are not issued for home but they are available within the library. 6. Student can keep a book for 15 days, however it can be reissued for another one week same book cant be issued to same student for more than 3 weeks in continuation. Any student can be punished on respective terms by the Principal if found guilty of breaking this rule. 7. Book should be returned to the library within stipulated time 1.Rs fine would be imposed per day on each late return. 8. A student should report in writing about any type of damage to the book at the time of issue. Otherwise S/he will be held responsible for any damage at the time of returning the book and would be asked to compensate the damage. 9. Librarian is supposed to remind the student if the books not returned after 15 days & should also keep informed the
Principal. In case of damage or lost book.The Principal has discretion to decide the punishment. 10. Student next immediately returns the entire book to the library once asked by the librarian. 11. Books issued before long vacations must be returned within 7 days of re-opening of the college. In case of delay 1.Rs fine shall be imposed per day on each book. 12. Student should get the books issued to read themselves only and not to oblige others. 13. All books must be returned before preparatory leaves start. 14. The librarian shall display the list of defaulter student on the notice board on 9th of each month and once due date in February at the end of academic session. TUTION FEE CONCESSION: Full and half tution fee concessions provided to poor and / or bright student. Student must apply upto the due date announced by the Principal. Student has to deposit full fees till the declaration of fee concession only those student are liable for tution fee concession who have obtained regular admission in the college. The notification and list of student shallbe displayed on the notice board. The student is eligible to obtain only one facility out of tution fee concession and poor boys fund. SCHOLARSHIP AND MONETARY ASSISTANCE: State Government and the college have a number of scholarship schemes. Book loan facility etc. for discerning scholar students. All first year students of undergraduate and post graduate courses, who have obtained minimum 50% marks and where the annual income of the parent does not exceed 7200/- per annum, are advised to submit their names along with the true copies of the mark sheet in the college office. The names should be submitted with 15 days of seeking admission to the college so that their candidature can be forwarded for scholarship and monetary assistance.
RULES REGARDING PARKING STAND: 1. The parking stand management shall be looked after by an authorized person by the Principal. 2. Student bringing vehicles to the college have to register their names in the college office. They have to pay a fees of Rs. 100/- for bicycle and Rs. 200/- for Moped / Scooter for each academic session. 3. If Student does not pay the vehicle charges to the stand contractors college bears no responsibility in such cases. 4. There shall not be any concession in parking charges nor shall it be returned in any circumstances. 5. If any vehicle is found with registration in the college campus, Rs. 250-/- shall be charged as fine for the same. 6. The employee deputed at the parking stand shall maintain the record of owner, vehicle number and registration number in the Stand Register. No unregistered vehicle shallbe allowed in the campus parking stand. 7. Each student shall take token at parking the vehicle. The students are themselves responsible for their vehicle if they dont take the token. 8. If any vehicle is lost from the parking stand the Principal has the final right to decide the case and his decision shall finally be accepted. Kishori Raman P.G. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All the student who have completed their admission related interview process are hereby informed that they should submit the fees at the college counter of Syndicate Bank with in three days of receiving their fee challan receipt. Admission shall stand cancelled if any student does not follow the above notice. The student should obtain their I-Card after producing their copy of fee challan at the college office. All the students must collect and submit duly filled examination form at the college counter after Ist September. They must paste passport size photos on the form enclosed with Xerox copies of mark sheet, certificate and submit within the due date to be forwarded to the University in time students must carry their original certificate, mark sheet and fee challan at
the time of submission of the examination form. The first year student of B.A. / B.Com. and B.Sc. must obtain, fill and submit their enrolment form at the college office in the month of September.
