ANNOUNCEMENT

Ron: Good afternoon! Before we begin this ceremony, may I

call your attention to the following reminders: As much
as possible, we would like to maintain the formality and
orderliness of this occasion. With this, may we request all
those who are here today wear facemask and observe
physical/ social distancing at all times. May we request
everyone to put your cell phones in a silent mode. Please
refrain from standing in front and on the side of the
stage.

INTRODUCTION

Ross: Recognition Day is another momentous event in the lives

of students for it is their time to harvest what has been
planted. After a year of hard work and determination,
they shall receive the reward they deserve. Indeed, today
is a jubilation of honour and glory.

Ross & Ron: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the ST. LOUISE DE
MARILLAC COLLEGE OF SORSOGON
INCORPORATED- Gubat Campus, formerly; St.
Anthony Academy Recognition Day with the theme:
“Louiseans: Journeying Together in Pursuing
Dreams and Fostering Resilience Amidst
Adversity”

Ron: To start with, let us recognize the presence of our Lord in

this gathering through a prayer to be given to us by
Phoebe Encinares of Grade 9- St. Francis Regis Clet. It
will be immediately followed by singing the Philippine
 National Anthem, to be conducted by Mr. Rinan L.
Escopete.

WORDS OF WELCOME

Ross: Let us all be seated.

Joseph Broño III, of Grade 9- SFRC will give us his words
of welcome. Let us give him a big round of applause.

Thank you Joseph for the warm welcome!

DISTRIBUTION OF AWARDS

Ron: And now let us come to the most awaited moment, the
recognition of Academic Excellence Awardees.

Ross: Academic Excellence Award is given to students who

have obtained a general weighted average of at least 90
and passed all the subjects. Students with a general
average of 90-94 will be awarded as WITH HONORS, 95-
97 WITH HIGH HONORS and 98-100 WITH HIGHEST
HONORS.

Students who have obtained a general average of at least

90 will receive a Medal while those students who
obtained an average of at least 90 for the 4 th Quarter or
Second Semester only will receive a CERTIFICATE OF
RECOGNITION FOR THE 4TH QUARTER or CERTIFICATE
OF RECOGNITION FOR THE SECOND SEMESTER for
Senior High School.

Ron: The class advisers will read the names of the student
awardees. MR. ANGELES ALCOVENDAS JR., school
Principal will distribute the medals to the awardees. He
will be assisted by the Academic Coordinator MR. MARK
ANTHONY S. GILE, together with MS. MARIA ELIZABETH
ENCINARES, Student Activity Coordinator and Formation
Officer and MR. CARLO H. LELIS, Learning Management
System Coordinator.

The parents of the awardees are requested to come up

the stage to receive the certificate and/ or pin the medals
or ribbons to their child.

building a Christian Society.

Our Recognition Day has come to an end. Before we
finally close the ceremony, the administrators and faculty
of St. Louise de Marillac College of Sorsogon,
Incorporated- Gubat Campus extend our deepest
gratitude to our dear parents and guests for joining us
today.

We greatly appreciate the trust you have given us. We

would like to assure you that we will continue to give
quality Christian Vincentian education and formation to
the young Sorsoganons entrusted to our care.

Ross: To all of you thank you very much and congratulations to

our dear academic excellence awardees. May you
continue to uphold the Vincentian Values handed on to
you by your mentors and most of all continue to be a
blessing to others, especially to the poor, the Lords and
masters of all the Vincentian Family.
