JAZEERA WOOD ELEGANCE STAIN

Description:
High concentrated water based wood stain. It protects the wooden surfaces and imparts attractive colors, while keeping the natural design
of wooden surfaces and provides a great elegant appearance.

Recommended Use:
Recommended to use for exterior and interior applications, as a colored stain on all types of wooden surfaces such as doors, windows and
furniture, it is especially designed to be compatible with water based wood painting system.

Characteristics:
• High concentration dyes grant superior hiding.
• High penetration and adhesion properties on wood surfaces and topcoats.
• Excellent color retention.
• Low odor and Low VOC.
• Excellent water resistance.
• Resistance to rot, fungus and pests.
• Fast drying.
• High spreading rate.
• Safe and noncombustible.

Physical Constants:
• Color As per Jazeera Wood Elegance Stain catalog.
• Volume Solid 17% ASTM D2697
• Viscosity 12-15 seconds in Ford Cup 4 ASTM D1200.
• Specific Gravity 1.03 ASTM D1475.
• DFT 10 µm each coat.
• Theoretical Spreading Rate* 17 m²/ at DFT 10 µm
depending on colorshade and thinning ratio.
• VOC 150 g/L.

*The practical spreading rate of the product depends on the


surface,ambient temperature,application method, actual DFT and the wasted amount.
(To avoid waste, be sure to buy the right amount of the paint for the required surface area).

Surface Preparation:
Remove all visible surface deposits such as grease, oils, dust, soils, salt and other contaminants. Make the surface smooth by sanding with
sand paper and clean it well prior to application.

Application Condition:
• Application temperature more than (5°C) .
• Surface temperature should be at least (3°C) above dew point.
• Relative humidity: maximum 85%.

Painting System:
• Jazeera Wood Elegance Stain.
• Can be overcoated by all kinds of water based wood painting system.
Note: Do not shake ( Stir thoroughly before using)

Thinning:
Thinner: Water.
Thinning ratio: Up to 5% maximum.

Drying Time and Recoating:


Drying times are generally related to air circulation, temperature, film thickness and number of coats, and will be affected correspondingly.
• Temperature 25°C/77°F
• Relative humidity 50%
• Surface dry 5-10 minutes
• Hard dry 20 - 30 minutes
• Full cured 1 hour
• Dry to recoat, minimum 30 minutes
• Dry to recoat, maximum* -----------
Note: All records given in the table are typical at: recommended film thickness, good ventilation and one coat system.
*The surface should be dry and clean prior to application.

Packing:
• Packed in: can 1 Ltr.

Shelf Life & Storage:


Shelf Life: 12 months @ 25 °C .
Storage: Store indoors. Storage conditions are to keep the container in sealed container in dry, cool and well ventilated place.

• Clean up: Use "Tap water" for cleaning tools and in case of stains while application.
• Handling: Handle with care. Stir very well before use.
• Health and safety:Please read and follow the precautionary notices displayed on the container, and all caution statements on the MSDS
of this product.During application of paint, contact of liquid paint with eyes, skin, inhalation of paint mist and paint vapor should be strongly
avoided.For spray application systems; applicator should wear protective clothing, gloves, also eye, skin and respiratory protection are
always recommended Keep away from reach of children.
• Ventilation: When used in enclosed areas, thoroughair circulation must be used during and afterapplication until the coating is cured. In
addition, respirators must be used by all applicator.
• Caution: This product contains flammable solvents, keep away from sparks and open flame. For information on LEL and TLV, please read
the MSDS.
• Environmental safety: Please donate the leftover paint and packaging to your local authorized institution for usage or recycling purpose.
• Note: Wastes and empty containers should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations made under the Control of Pollution Act
and the Environmental Protection Act.
