Activity 1:
The teacher will play the Gregorian
chant music from Medieval period and
ask the learners to describe the type of
music being played.
Group Activity 1:
By group (5 groups) The teacher will
give each group a hand out that has the
history of Medieval period. Each group

will analyze how Medieval music was
begun. Each group will have a
brainstorming as to how they’ve
understand the history of Medieval
music.
Questions:
1. How Catholic church influenced the
music of the Medieval period?
2. How Troubadour music emerge
during the medieval period?
Group Activity 2:
Create and perform a short role play
showing the history of Medieval Period
(Focus on the important features)
