PROFILE
SPARK FOR INNOVATION &
CREATIVITY (SPARK)
is an independent Palestinian, non-governmental developmental organization
working in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, culture and
heritage; founded on 2018 and registered on January 2019.
Spark fosters creativity and innovation during its interventions to generate core values
in our community, to be a thriving, successful community in which all people have
access to proper tools to launch new ideas and to create innovative work
opportunities; SPARK believes in the vital role of creativity and innovation as a key part
in any solutions provided for the Palestinian youth, adolescents, and those who look
for an opportunity to develop their selves.
VISION
Towards a creative Palestinian community in which every young man and woman
utilizes their creativity to shape their own future in such an effective way.
MISSION
SPARK is an innovation hub that provides Palestinian Youth and adolescents with
inspiring, innovative and motivational learning environment in order to enhance their
creativity in order to enhance their accessibility to decent job opportunities from a
digital perspective.

Spark does its effort to achieve

Gathering and mobilizing youth and
adolescents' power in the Gaza Strip and
provide them with innovative interventions in the
fields of (education, economic, social, cultural)
which will improve their living conditions;

Youth and adolescents ((boys, girls, women and men)) with/without disabilities away
from any discrimination aspect (race, color, religion, disability, geographical area and
etc.) in the Gaza Strip, Palestine.

Makerspace for Interactive Education
This program offers different educational services; such as 21st-century skills, STEAM
education, project-based learning, and enhances the interconnectedness of
academic subject areas.

Advance the capacities of youth in the field of outsourcing and freelancing to increase
their accessibility to decent job opportunities.
We Are Makers
Hands-on learning experience where students learn rapid-prototyping by planning and
executing projects, resulting in a personal portfolio of technical accomplishments
through Spark Makerspace tools.
STEM IN MAKERSPACE
Use the STEM approach, which enhances the necessary skills in the twenty-first
century, such as critical thinking, logical thinking, creative thinking, problem solving
and so on.
Women in Stem
Provide young girls with the opportunity to delve deeper into science, technology,
engineering and mathematics subjects towards bridging the gender STEM gap.
We work with technology and people to shape our world for the better –
combining a deep material understanding of new and emerging technologies
with the tools and methods of participatory design.
Smart Greenhouse
An automated digital agricultural system that monitors and controls the growth
stages of crops, by providing farmers with readings and predictions about the
condition of the crop and potential diseases. The projects aims at solve the issue
of over-irrigation and irregular irrigation, in addition to providing farmers with
appropriate recommendations for their crops.

What We Do??
STEAM programs fill an important gap in education today. The acronym, which
stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, combines
subjects known to increase critical thinking and problem-solving skills through
unique hands-on learning opportunities.

Through exploratory and kinetic activities, students examine the science of
light and sound, discover how electricity and circuits work, and learn how
echolocation can be mimicked with technology.

how to interface them and why we need them in our life

(SDG) Youth Ambassadors
Palestine
Through the (SDG) Youth Ambassadors Palestine Program, Spark aims to engage
youth in her efforts to achieve the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs), as well as empower them with the knowledge, skills, and pathways to
action to be effective agents of change today.
Education for sustainable helps students understand the situation, the outlook
and the needs of people who live in other parts of the world or belong to
another generation.
