Three Things I learned from being a
My Thought/s or Reaction/s
citizen of the world

1. Provides me an insight into how -This allows us to improve our quality of

other countries and how their life, develop our systems, and enhance
citizens live. our respective countries in other ways.

-I gain new knowledge that can help me

2. A new perspective is given on the survive and acclimate to my surroundings.
kind of world I live in. I can gradually open up to the entire
world because I'm open -minded enough
to embrace a new culture and learn to
adapt with it no matter how odd it was.

3. Experiencing a sense of -It is, in my opinion, what makes you

connectedness, concern, and a human. You don't simply work for a living,
sense of communal obligation for consume, and procreate; you're
global issues such as poverty, concerned about what's going on with
oppression, and environmental your fellow humans on the other side of
degradation. the globe. You empathize with them and
you practice micro efforts to let them
know you're with them. You use your
voice to stop oppression through speaking
for good on social media. You support
local charities to minimize poverty and
you segregate to protect the
environment.

Two Things I learned from the concept of

globalization My Thought/s or Reaction/s

1. Globalization may attract unity - Globalization can be a unifying force

and inequalities.  because it promotes the ability to solve
some of the world's issues like language
barriers, poverty, and high unemployment
rate. The Philippines used to have a high
unemployment rate but this issue was
minimized because of establishing BPO
industries here through the help of the
concept of globalization. Globalization can
also produce inequalities because
increased imports of manufactured goods
from developing countries using mostly
low-skilled labor can raise wage disparity
in a relatively wealthy country.

2. Transportation of goods, - Globalization gives us an insight into

intercultural communication, and how the goods of other countries taste
worldwide connection became and feel because we openly embraced
easier. them. We can also communicate easily
with our loved ones who live on the other
side of the world because of globalization.
ACTIVITY #3: “Globalization through my eyes”
Instruction: Give your own definition of globalization based on what you learned
from the lesson and your own experiences. The definition should be
comprehensive. It means that you have to fully explain why you came up with this
definition through an essay.

 There are three (3) parts for your essay.

1. Introduction – this is an overview of what your work is all about
and must not be less than 3 sentences and not more than 5
sentences.
2. Body – this part includes your own definition and explanation
why you came up with this definition. This should be within 7-10
sentences.
3. Conclusion – may contain the summary of your work/thoughts
in 3 to 5 sentences.
