Churches and palaces are the most prominent architectural types in Baroque architecture.

Its classical
shape of conventional features such as columns, arches, triangular pediments, and friezes changes in
innovative and unusual ways in Baroque architecture. The pediments over the doors and windows are
often shaped like a semicircle or triangle. As an introduction to Baroque architecture and its qualities,
this building took essential Renaissance components, such as domes and colonnades, and made them
taller, bigger, more ornamented, more aesthetically spectacular.

In Baroque Architecture, the area is autonomous and expanded forth in a push to handle more major
spaces, extensive embellishment, and substantial ceiling paintings. There is also a significant focus on
features including the use of hue, light, shade, structural elements, as well as a strong infusion of arts.
Furthermore, the exterior facades are distinguished by a prominent representation, while the interior
spaces are dedicated to art and sculpture. In comparison to Renaissance architecture, which is simple
and easily recognized and seen, baroque structures are vast and elaborate, emphasizing control and
superiority. A few examples such as domes, oval windows, towers, and columns. These domes were
often placed in the middle of a structure. A double-sloped mansard roof, a fundamental characteristic of

It is a very ornate, decorative, and dramatic style of Rococo. It uses ornamental components with curves
and counter curves, and asymmetrical shapes based on S's and C's. Additionally, the ornamentation is
typically based on angels, musical equipment, and classic Far Eastern images such as pagodas and
dragons, though it's more completely secular from Baroque iconography. Rococo interiors are
characterized by decorative embellishments such as paintings, carved moldings, scrolls, and excessive
gilding. Interiors use a light, pastel palette of hues such as light pinks, yellows, and blues. Some
decorative features include reflected glass to significantly raise the perception of depth and light, crystal
chandeliers, stucco ornamentation, boiserie, and gilded wall sconces. In distinction to the Baroque style,
Rococo is a secular style that does not include religious themes in its style or adornment. The first style
to emerge as purely domestic interior decorating was rococo architecture.
