This document provides information for the Cambium Networks 60 GHz cnWave products.

60 GHz cnWave System Release 1.0 supports the following major features:

l PTP, PMP and Mesh topology support

l V5000, V3000, V1000 platforms

l Support for both Onpremise and Onboard E2E controller and NMS

l Support for cnMaestro with link to cnMaestro download

l IPv6 Layer 3 routing with BGP support

l Layer 2 Bridge supporting IPv4 and IPv6

l Simplified configuration model and made IPv4 friendly

Known problems or limitations

Workaround: Restrict packet size to 1900 bytes.

60 GHz V3000, Description: When SFP module is present and SFP link is not used, then the
cnWave- V5000 Ethernet on other interfaces could lock up.

Workaround: Disable SFP port when module is present but not in use, it is
enabled by default.

60 GHz All Description: Any upstream BGP routes advertised by the PoP gets installed
cnWave- on the DN/CN. Delete of this prefix does not propagate to DN/CN.

Workaround: Withdraw the prefix through CLI manually.

60 GHz All Description: When L2 bridge is enabled and bidirectional traffic is triggered,
cnWave- intermittent stalls are seen in DL UDP. This issue is observed when L2 bridge is
1281 enabled along with Disabled broadcast flood parameter.

Workaround: Do not enable Disabled broadcast flood parameter.

60 GHz All Description: In L2 Bridge mode, enabling relay port on non-PoP DN requires
cnWave- reboot.

Workaround: Reboot the DN node if it is in Layer 2 Bridge mode and then
relay port is enabled.
