I. INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOME
Through varied teaching-learning activities, the pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder
should have done the following with at least 75 % accuracy:

A. Sort out pictures by each corresponding senses.


B. Taking care of the body parts
C. Identify the basic body parts (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands) and their functions.

The teacher will now talk about the five senses

5. Sense of hearing

The teacher will now show a five senses sorting


worksheet and let the students stick the objects to
the correct sense.

GENERALIZATION The teacher will ask the pupils

1. What are the five senses? Sense of sight,


sense of smell,
sense of touch,
sense of taste,
sense of hearing!
2. Can you give me an example of the things

APPLICATION The teacher prepared a five senses station, wherein


the students will guess what they will see, touch,
hear, smell and taste. Depending on the station they
will be at.

SEEING STATION

- Look at the pictures in the first column, then


look at the picture in the second column.
Spot the difference.
HEARING STATION

- There are two sealed containers. One holds


rice, one holds marbles. The teacher will
shake each container, then will ask the
students;
1. What did you hear?
2. Can you tell what is in each container?

SMELLING STATION

- There are two containers, each with


something inside. The teacher will let each
student smell each container and will ask
questions after;
1. What did you smell?
2. Can you tell what’s inside?

TASTING STATION
- The teacher ill let the students taste what’s
inside the container.
1. What did you taste?
2. What do you think it is?
TOUCH STATION
- There are 2 mystery bags. The teacher will
instruct the students to close their eyes and
put their hands inside the bag. The teacher
will ask questions to students after.
1. What did you feel?
2. What do you think it is?
EVALUATION The teacher will distribute answer sheets to
students and let them answer it.

ASSIGNMENT The teacher will ask the student to choose any


pictures to present tomorrow relating to the Five
senses and paste it in the bond paper with the help
of their parents. Then show it to the class and say
something about it.
