Wall push-ups – exert maximal effort in a brief duration. 10. Doing sit and reach – Cardiovascular Endurance – ability of the lungs, heart, and blood vessels to deliver adequate amount of oxygen to the cells to meet the demands of prolonged physical activity. Flexibility – ability of the muscles & joints to go through a full range of motion. Body Composition – proportion of lean body mass to fat body mass. Muscular Endurance – maximum pull or push that can be exerted one time by muscle group. 2. Skill Related Components o Important in performing the more technical aspects of many sports and include speed, reaction time, agility, balance, coordination, and power. Speed – most sports and activities require some form of speed. Reaction Time – how quickly your brain can respond to a stimulus and initiate a response. Agility – ability to move quickly and easily. Balance – a steady position or condition. Coordination – ability to use the body parts and senses together to produce smooth efficient movements. Power – product of strength and speed.
