THA MECHANICAL PART
The mechanical parts of this series machine consist of the following major components: the

base unit, pillar parts (including Upright Post pieces, Rocker Arm pieces, Locking pieces), tube

parts, etc.

1. Base unit

The instrument adopts Orientation foot brake, one of most advanced structures, which is

stable and it is not easy to break. During its usages, the machine can be fixed quickly with the

brake structure, preventing the machine from moving forward and backward. It is convenient to

take radiography in a stable and accurate situation. Note: If some faults happen, please follow

as bellow:

1) It brakes effectively during the movement, but when users release the foot brake, the

instrument cannot move normally. At this moment, please move the machine forward and

backward slowly and brakes will be able to return to its original position, then you can push the

machine easily.

2) After release the foot brake and proceed as the step 1), if the machine still can not move,

please use some soft object to beat the brake block below the base unit until it can work

properly. Usually it is the reason that it works for a long time, and the base of the brakes lacks

lubricant. Please move the arm to the lowest position and lock until hearing a “crack” locking

sound, and then gently move up a little and stop when meet resistance, then move the

machine to another side. The users can see the brake system below the base unit and add oli,

to make it slide freely. After that, it will work well.

3) During the movement the machine in the collision process, the caster is damaged. Please

tilt the machine as the above two methods, raise the damaged side of the wheel, and remove it.

Then repair or replace it.

2. Pillar parts

This machine is applied to a combined pillar and rocker arm. It can take films in every position

the tube parts stop, by using the built-in tension spring and rocker arm to realize the up and

down movement of tube parts. Note: If some faults happen, please follow as bellow:

1) Tube components cannot stop at a certain location as the user need.

It is caused by the long time usage of tension spring. Please tilt the machine according to the

"base unit" in Step 2, then use the wrench to adjust the extension spring bolt of the base unit,

rotate clockwise to increase the tension, until it reaches a balance position.

2) Locking pieces cannot work.

Check whether the head pins of both sides on chrome-plated handles is broken or not. If yes,

please adjust the tension spring according to above NO.1), counter-clockwise rotate until the

tension spring effect can not afford to pull up, and remove the tube parts , then remove the

locking pieces to check the cushion of both sides loose or not. Pleasure repair the cushion,

then install locking pieces into the arm pieces together, then install the tube parts, at last adjust

the tension spring bolt until balance.

3. Tube parts

Tube parts is composed of beam collimator, rotating handle, cover and tube pieces. If some

faults happen during use, such as not lighting of beam collimator lamp etc., please repair and

maintain according to the corresponding sections of the manual; if there is something wrong

with the tube pieces, please contact our company.

THE ELECTRICAL PART

Dealing methods：

a. Check whether the positioning light is damaged or not. If damaged, change it.

b. If the above is normal, check wether the 24V power is normal or not, and if the 24V wire is

fix well or not.

c. If the 24V power is not in normal state, check if the 24V switch power, power cord and

time-delay board cord, to see whether they are normal or not.

d. If the above is normal, change the time-delay board.

2． The tube leaks oil

Dealing method: Return the X-ray tube to the company for repair or changing.

3． Take blank films

Dealing methods:

a. First confirm that the operation is right.

b. Check each of the connecting wire.

c. Observe the working process, including the exposure light, driven board light, filament, to

see whether the sound of them are right or not.

d. If the above is right, test whether the input current is controlled or not. If not, change the

filament board. If still take blank films, check whether the light is shining or not. If the light is

normal, the tube is not at good state, change the tube. If the light is not normal, check the

inverter part, and change the inverter assembly.

Note: If take bland film at times, change the filament board.

4. PLX101D powers off when doing exposure

Dealing methods: The battery is in lack of power. Measure the voltage of the battery. The

voltage should be 250V, which is over the normal voltage. Measure the three batteries

separately. The voltage should be basically the same. If the deferences are too much, please

check whether the fuse in the battery is broken or not. After making sure that the voltage of all

the three batteries are right, charge them.

5． PLX101D powers off after finishing charging and can not power on again．

Dealing methods: it’s the problem of interface board

You may remove J1-1 on the interface board, shut off the function of automatic shutdown, or

replace the interface board by a new one.

6． Exposure is available by hand switch, but not available with remote control.

Dealing methods:

a. check the battery of remote control, if it’s out of power, replace it by a new one.

b. Check if the voltage of the wireless receiver is 24V.

c. Make the remote control at 24V, check whether power supply and interface board

connection are ok or not.

d. If the power input is 24V, it must be the problem of remote control. If not, check if there is

220V power input in the switch power supply.

e. If it has 220V power input, it is the problem of 24V switch,if not,check the main power part.

7． PLX101D can not power on.

Dealing methods:

a. check the connection of FU1 and FU2

b. If FU1, FU2 is normal, then connect with the network power, turn the machine on. Observe

the power management board to see if the red light on, if it is light the board is normal, if not

the board is out of work.

c. If the power management board can work normally,pull out J1, then boot the machine, if it

can boot, resume the J1 under working circumstance, if the machine shut off,it is the problem

of inter face board; if can’t boot,then check DCSSR, short circuit the DCSSR, if it can boot, it is

the problem of DCSSR.

d. If cut short circuit the DCSSR, it still can’t boot, check the voltage of the battery,it should stay

above 250V, if it is too low,please connect the network power to the interface of the charger

power, force to charge the battery (for about 2 hours), then carry out the step3.

8． PLX101, PLX101A and PLX101C can not power on.

Dealing methods:

a. PLX100, PLX101A, PLX101C can’t boot

Solution:1.Check the connection between the cable of the film keyboard and the interface

board.

b. Check whether every bottom can bounce, if not replace it.

c. Ensure that the 5V power is on

d. If all the above is normal, it still can boot, replace the PC board and the interface board.

Note: Usually, it is for the damage of film keyboard of long-time use, the machine can boot.

9． When power on, the Ready light is on, and tube begins working.

Dealing methods:

a. turn off the equipment and repeat this and find out if the same malfunction still exists,

b. check if the electric wires under the surface are correctly connected to the interface board

c. Check if the all the buttons could rebound, otherwise change the buttons

d. Check if the X8 wire on the interface board is well connected, if there is any poor contact

e. If the aforementioned points are normal, please replace the interface board

10． The tube falls down, and can not be fixed.

Dealing methods:

The fatigue of the spring inside the pillar causes the sink of the x-ray tube, tighten the screw

nut under the pillar clockwise, then make the x-ray tube balanced, if the x-ray tube can’t be

balanced, please use a new spring.

Note: please lift the x-ray tube to the top point when the equipment is not in use

11． Press charging button of PLX101D, the battery bar is shining in not common state.

Dealing methods:

a. check if the charger is working normally, test the voltage on the charger, and find out if the

charger is DC300V.

b. If the voltage is DC300V, check if the indicator light is on or not, if the light is on, change the

interface board and computer board, if the light is off, check the charger and the signal wire

c. If the voltage is less than 300V, connect the charger to 220V, if the output is 300V, please

exchange the power management board, if there is no output of 300V, please exchange the

charger.

12． Exposure time can not be controlled.

Dealing methods:

a. check the electric wire connection, especially the X9 plug

b. Check if cold solder joint exists on the adjustment plate

c. If the malfunction still exists, please exchange the interface board and computer board

13． The machine warns as soon as it powers on.

Dealing methods:

a. check the if power supply±5V, ±15V in the electric circuit is normal.

b. If the power supply is normal, but it still gives an alarm please exchange the interface board.

c. If the power supply is abnormal, please check the electric wire connection on the

rectification board, check if there is output of ±5V,±15V, if not so, please check the rectification

and related electric circuit.

d. If equipment gives an alarm when turn it on and the red light is on in the guard plate, please

exchange the new guard plate.

Note: if the equipment gives an alarm, generally it is the malfunction of the interface.

14． Screen blurred

Dealing methods:

a. make sure the voltage of 5V for the computer board is normal

b. Check if the electric wire connection between the LCD and the interface board is normal

c. Overcome the problem of the electric wire, then exchange the computer board, if the

confusion still exists, please exchange the LCD.

15． The radiography result is not very satisfactable.

Dealing methods:

Please check the equipment according to the following steps
