The building's design and the choosing of its materials are the responsibility of the architect.
In order to achieve the greatest design that is both sustainable and efficient and to satisfy the client,
architects also have to master a specific set of capabilities. The importance of cost-effective and
sustainable architectural design and construction is becoming more important in many clients before
considering building their own homes.
They can then use a basic cost-benefit analysis to weigh the benefits of different shapes and
find a good balance between price, beauty, and functionality. While there are hundreds of materials
available for building, construction engineers, architects, construction, designers, and specifiers
must depend upon a number of appropriate materials. Unfortunately, the majority of people commit
a typical error in the building industry by choosing the unsuitable materials for a building's design.
The major cause of this might be the low budget available, as well as the contractors' lack of expertise
in material selection and handling. with the knowledge that prices are likely to change at any time
throughout the entire design process. For example building a house with an alternative materials or
affordable materials but still high quality or good as new. By that we can achieve the purpose of
every materials that we will use without creating any errors with the development.
Furthermore, construction cost really affecting the design process for some reason but there
is a solution for that. Buildings should be flexible enough to accommodate possible alternative
materials and design ideas without compromising the design objective, quality of the project, or cost
management plan.
What are the ways to control the construction cost in our job as architect? Give examples,
practices and new trends in the design and our construction industry.
Construction costs increase as a result of the materials used. For building design to be cost-
effective, understanding the construction, knowing where to find the best most affordable materials
and design industry is important.
Basically, Its not necessary to buy materials from pricey suppliers, for instance. Cheap plumbing
fittings, lighting fixtures, bathroom accessories, and hardware are all available from some of internet
retailers and discount supply shops. Each material used in construction has an alternative that
serves the same purpose but may be more expensive or less expensive. Also reusing materials for
construction or using second-hand building materials can also lower construction costs.
It implies that we might need to make certain improvements, organize and update the financial
budget after creating the budget plan, gathering the updates assessments, and reporting the cost
control performance. So here, the list of method on how you can control construction cost:
1. Management of Inventory
Poor management of the materials can cause you to lose at least half of your
budget. Know exactly what you need If necessary, establish a list of the supplies you plan
that you need.
Companies typically use this cost control technique to make sure the plan is being
followed to: monitoring all project-related spending. Since Total costs can be gathered from
bills, the issue in this situation is really with the progress reports. It's essential to
comprehend the overall price of each activity, though. Eventually, this will allow us to define
issues and budget overruns.

construction cost, the importance of communication on the job site is universally known by
construction industry experts, and for good reason. With a little explanation or clarification,
