CHAPTER 1

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Bake of my cloud castle can help and give customer satisfaction. We want to
serve our valued customers in a new Product that will enjoy not only by adults but also
by the young ones. We add special ingredients and Toppings for our product which is Pili
nuts. Pili is a signature nut in Bicol Region in the Philippines. Bake my cloud castle
located in Antipolo City. The City of Antipolo is 1st class component City and Capital
province of Rizal. The motto of Antipolo is "Tayo na sa Antipolo," just like Antipolo's
Motto, we also want to encourage possible customers to purchase our Product. Our
Location is close to one of the well-known tourist spots in Antipolo which is Cloud-9.
Residents of Antipolo and tourists of Antipolo are our target market. We all know that
everyone likes to try new products that's why we are here to make and introduce Pili Nuts
to everyone since it was not too familiar for all of us.

Bake my cloud castle started in 2020 it is inspired by Bicol province. The four of
us barricades from different parts of the province went to Bicol to visit the said Mt.
Mayon and visit one of our friends who lives there. We were invited by one of our
companions to enter their house and we discovered that they planted fruits and one of
them was the most popular Bicol fruit called Pili Nuts. Pili nuts can be used to make a
variety of foods. Our business is called bake my cloud castle because it is also one of our
dreams to build a bakeshop. Cloud castle is another term for the dream.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Bake my cloud castle, located at Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Antipolo City is a new, upscale
bakery focusing on Healthy and Innovative Bicol-inspired products. Our product line fits
nicely with health trends nationwide – while people still want pastries and baked goods,
they want them to be as healthy as possible. Bake my cloud castle will sell several baked
goods including Cookies, Brownies, Cake, Cupcakes, and Custard Cake. Our products
are unique and Innovative.

TYPE OF BUSINESS

Nature of Business

This business is a partnership business. We have five members in this partnership


business.

Name of Business

We decide that the business name will be Bake My Cloud Castle. We come up
with this business name because the word cloud castles means "dream". We dream this
business not just to have a profit or gain income but because we want to learn and be
knowledgeable in doing or making bake. Also, it is inspired by a friend who loves to bake

and this product came also in a Bicol that gives the idea to build this business and create
this business name.

Product/Service

Our product is Cupcakes. Our product is more beautiful and quality compared to
other products. it is new to the sight and taste of customers and has a high chance of
becoming interested in it. our product is clean in workmanship. it comes from natural
resources where it can be seen from the province of Bicol. It is the Pili nuts that are a
popular fruit in town. our employee undergoes intensive training before being hired by a
company. They are taught how to have good communication with customers and act
quickly accordingly on time. our employees are also taught how to clean and serve
customers correctly.

MARKETING, MANAGEMENT, AND FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Marketing Aspects

The market is a very important aspect of the business since it contributes greatly
to the success of the organization. Production and distribution depend largely on
marketing it is the process of introducing and promoting the product or service into the
market and encourages sales from the buying public. Since the goal of marketing is to
make the product or service widely known and recognized to the market, marketers must
be creative in their marketing activities.

Management Aspects

We create this business not just to get income or gain profit. We decide to build
this because this can help customer to taste or even get to know a new delicacy that made
in pili nuts. All we want is to be known as successful and recognize our businesses but
the purpose of our business is to show that pili nut can be known when it comes to baking
or in bread pastry. Also, to be patronized in our product by making it in a unique
delicacy. With the help of using pili nuts, it can create a new product. The main purpose
of our business is to show the usefulness of pili nuts in baking pastries.

The goal of our business is to a create name in the food industry. We know that
many businesses are known with their company or business name or even in their
products/services they offered but they want the ideas to show in their customer with the
unique resources they are using. Our goal is to show how pili nuts can be a good natural
resource when it comes to pastries and also, we want to be recognized our business by
using our resources.

We know that we are in the 21st century. Many things can be possible using
technologies. With technologies, we can gain or get information and ideas. We can use
this as a way to promote our businesses. Having a page on Facebook, Twitter, or even
Instagram, can help the customer know the product we are offering. Also, we can create a
flayer that we can give to the customer as their guide on how they going to get or visit

our business. With that technologies, they can easily access the product/services they
want to grab. Our human resources are skillful in terms of making pastries. They have
experienced in baking and they know how to create a unique flayer made in pili nuts.

Our business is a partnership business, when it comes to budget all of us should


give our share to make our financial needs met. The shares we gathered are the capital we
are using to make our business run. Our natural resources are the pili nuts. The pili nuts
are known in the province of Bicol. We use this main ingredient and it is pure pili nuts.

Mission Statement

Create a bakery that makes the best quality baked goods on-site from scratch,
fresh daily! Create an atmosphere where we can attract, retain and motivate the brightest
and most talented people in the industry. Create an atmosphere where employees can
learn, grow, and innovate while holding to the roots of traditional baking.

To create an inviting warm atmosphere for our clients and customers to be able to
purchase their baked goods.

Our mission is to bake nourishing, locally sourced food that is accessible and
affordable to support our community, provide jobs with dignity, and offer an economic
model outside of capitalism.

Vision Statement

Good Corporate Citizenship and supporting the development of the society.

Our vision is to bring an affordable price and provide a quality product to all
customers while starting a small business to grow in a big and brand name business.

Staff & Employees

Manager: The person who will manage and gives information and necessary things to
do. They ate to one also who will check the things that need to develop in a business.

Head baker: Head bakers in a commercial or retail bakery must be experts in weighing
and measuring ingredients, often in bulk; mixing, kneading, and molding dough; pastry-
making; and specialized decorating.

Financial Aspects

Each stockholder will contribute an amount of P6,000.00 as we need to produce


capital of P30,000.00 to put up our very own "Baked My Cloud Castle" cupcake
business. All expenses like the ingredients, supplies, equipment, etc. will be deducted
from our capital. We'll also consider the location of our business to ensure that our
cupcakes will be known to people for us to have high earnings and we will deposit it
weekly on our bank account.

Socio-Economic Contribution

Generally, business is established primarily to generate profit for their respective


owners and employees, however, these entities also deal a substantial impact on the other
aspects outside their operating zone. From employees and customers to the economy,
government and environment businesses partake in how these institutions will react under
different circumstances.

The proposed business "Bake My Cloud Castle" shall just offer high quality of
foods and services and also an unforgettable experience that everyone seeks. Having the
full view, tourists will enjoy having their picture taking while feeling the Sumlang Lake
awesome. Help is one of the primary virtues in the province. Hence, all tourists will be
accommodated exquisitely in a natural way.

In addition, the business shall give benefit to the following;

• To the quality of product and services, through healthy competition in the same
extent as it lowest the range of prices.

• To employees and owners, by providing a source of living through remuneration


and other benefits.

CHAPTER 2

PRODUCTION OR SERVICE

Product or Service Description

Baking My Cloud Castle is inspired by Bicol Province, it is having an ingredient


which is Pili Nuts. Cupcake is processing by Preheat the Steamer Line a 12-cup muffin
pan with cupcake liners. Line a second pan with 2 liners –Set aside. Cupcakes: Whisk the
flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a large bowl until
thoroughly combined. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs, granulated sugar,
brown sugar, oil, pili nuts, and vanilla together until combined. Pour half of the wet
ingredients into the dry ingredients. Then half of the buttermilk. Gently whisk for a few
seconds. Repeat with the remaining wet ingredients and buttermilk. Stir until just
combined; do not over mix. The batter will be thin. Spoon the batter into the liners. Fill
only halfway to avoid spilling over the sides or sinking. Steam for 18-21 minutes, or until
a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow cooling completely before
frosting. Let them cool in the pan. Frost cooled cupcakes however you'd like. Used Violet
buttercream. Top with Pili nuts. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Pili
nuts are our main ingredient for our delicious cakes and cupcakes. There are so many
benefits of this product some of these are: Low Carb Benefits A low carb diet can help
improve your health and lose weight. Combats Free Radicals Pili nuts are an excellent
source of antioxidants. May Reduce Bad Cholesterol Levels Pili nuts contain significant
amounts of oleic acid (monosubstituted fats) that can help decrease bad cholesterol
levels. This can reduce your risk of stroke and heart disease. Supports Bone Health Pili
nuts contain minerals that support healthy bones. They pack a nutritional punch with
phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, and calcium. Eating pili nuts could be
a preventative measure to get those minerals in and slow the rate of bone density loss.

that boosts your immune system and helps your body fight off infection.

Sourcing and Fulfillment

The company will fill the orders to be delivered for the customer according to the
timely service. The company will add other items from other customers' preferences for
other sources and to have good communication between employee and customer. Our
company will provide the production and supply for our product. The cupcake is made
ourselves means; we innovate the product for the future. The production manager will be
the holder of a department in producing a good product and fast customer service; it can
be handled by a production manager because it starts with intense rehearsal before he can
be placed in this position. To distribute fast and clean service to customers.

Bake My Cloud Castle is inspired by Bicol. It uses a pure ingredient which is Pili
Nuts which can be a great help to our body especially to people who are on a diet. The
packaging of our product is durable and new to the consumer it is from natural resources.
The distribution of our business is even better to know the famous fruit in the province
that can be used as an ingredient for various foods, and for other foreigners to get to
know more about the interesting place here Antipolo City. It can be bought at retail or a
set of cupcakes with the different variants that came from Bicol.

Bake My Cloud Castle is going to educate the consumer and subsequent word-of-
mouth. We will become known as a unique dining experience as well as a superior pastry
shop. We will reach our customers through social media and special holiday promotions.
We will have a Facebook page with our customer's different favorite flavors. Customers
can send us their favorite or desired flavors. We will also talk to our customers and let
our customers talk to us through Facebook. Location will also play a crucial role in
marketing and promotion. The business will be located in Sumulong Hwy, Santa Cruz,
Antipolo City near Cloud 9 that every tourist visits. Bake My Cloud Castle will target
progressive and generally well-educated and affluent consumers who are interested in
trying new products and experiences.

Project Overview

Bake My Cloud Castle is all about new and healthy cupcakes being baked. We
aim to sell it to promote this healthy type of cupcakes especially since our main

not to gain their weight so as we aim to produce for the benefits that our customers.
Expect that we will do our best to create and produce innovative and quality healthy
products at an affordable price.

Marketing Objectives

We will also be creating a useful list of marketing objectives is reviewing our


strategy some of the most frequently used marketing objectives are the following:
Promote New Products or Services, Grow Digital Presence, Target New Customers and
Retain Existing Customers, Increase Sales Revenue, Increase Profit, Increase Market
Share. To achieve our goals, we will be using SMART Goals starting at:

Specific: We are going to create a new and healthy product. We will also be active on our
social media platforms. Grow our monthly viewers on our Facebook page by 500 views
in the next 30 days and we'll surely listen to our customer's feedback to improve our
product.

Measurable: After collecting all those feedbacks from our customers, we are going to
produce it at the healthiest and best quality that we can. Giving extra effort during special
occasions such as birthdays, holidays, valentine's day, graduation day, and many more to
increase our income

Achieving: It by innovation method that will benefit everyone through our product.
Doing different kinds of pastries that are made of Pili Nuts.

Relevant: Focusing on our realistic goal that as a startup business online promotion is
one of our main focuses.

Time-Bound: Is important as much as possible and we are going to make this happen in
5 months' preparation (2023).

Bake My Cloud Castle main target market is the celebrators, tourist that comes in
cloud 9 and the students. It is also available for the people who celebrate special
occasions. Celebrators are just that – people celebrating special occasions. Birthday,
anniversary, graduation, valentine's day, etc., families and loved ones will gather to buy
at Bake My Cloud Castle over sumptuous cupcakes also it's so good to see the great and
refreshing view with a festive atmosphere. Tourist with the best spot of Bake My Cloud
Castle they will enjoy eating cupcakes. And we want to introduce our new business to
foreigners who continue to recognize our area and also introduce the unique famous fruit
in the Bicol province. Students our location is near the university which they can taste the
new and tasty cupcakes that can buy at affordable price. We have specifically targeted
segments of people with an appreciation for delicious cakes and a need for comfort and

essential for the success of the business. To ensure product quality, this bakery will
emphasize cleanliness and sanitation, use quality ingredients, and will always be sure all
cupcakes are properly baked. Innovations are also an important factor in the growth and
success of the company. This bakery will start by offering a variety of options, from
flavors like pili nuts the most known product in Bicol. To more decadent ones such as red
velvet and cacao chocolate cake as well as different kinds of frostings, and numerous
decoration styles for all types of occasions. However, to grow as a business, it is
important to innovate their product. To do so, the bakery will continually work to develop

Bake my cloud castle is a bakery business that produces and sells flour-based
cupcakes that is being cooked using steamer. We have such unique cupcake flavors that
our customers would love to try.
The increasing demand for our bakery drives the market. Availability of foods at
reasonable prices, variety of products, health benefits and the convenience of steamed
products are key factors contributing to the growth of market.
Our supply will come from Bicol Province that is owned by the CEO of our
business. We are the main supplier of the ingredients we're using in our bakery business.
Pili Nuts peak season is during mid-year, (March- September) but usually we can have a
fresh harvest monthly. When crisis comes, we can say that we are also ready for it,
because we'll be preserving a large amounts of pili nuts by cooking and putting it in a jar
which can still sustain our business during crisis.

CUPCAKE
Ingredients
3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled)
1/2 cup (45g) unsweetened natural cocoa powder
½ teaspoon food coloring
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup (80ml) vegetable or canola oil (or melted coconut oil)
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup pili nuts
1/2 cup (120ml) buttermilk

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat the Steamer Line a 12-cup muffin pan with cupcake liners. Line a second pan
with 2 liners –Set aside.
2. Cupcakes: Whisk the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
together in a large bowl until thoroughly combined. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk

the eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil, pili nuts and vanilla together until combined.
Pour half of the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Then half of the butter milk.
Gently whisk for a few seconds. Repeat with the remaining wet ingredients and
buttermilk. Stir until just combined; do not over mix. The batter will be thin.
3. Spoon the batter into the liners. Fill only halfway to avoid spilling over the sides or
sinking.
4. Steam for 18-21 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely before frosting. Let them cool in the pan.
5. Frost cooled cupcakes however you’d like. Used Violet butter cream. Top with Pili
nuts. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

As a business, we should know Political and Government Policy. Political


situation of a country affects its economic setting that can affect our Business
performance. Changes in Rule and Regulations can also affect our Business. We must

ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS

Packaging of bakery products is very important; we can use It up to a long time


from the day of making it. Attractive food packaging attracts customer also increases
appetite and people eat more that they need for benefit.

We will use eco-friendly packaging. We have chosen not to use plastic to protect
our wildlife and food resources. Aside from saving nature, we're here to help
manufacturing companies reduce their financial burden since we will use recyclable
packaging.

more customers and also for them to know more about our business. Using Facebook
page by liking, commenting and sharing we can spread it and promote it. Social media
