1.

Why do you think more people give importance to their body than their
mind?

Answer: I believe that individuals place more emphasis on their bodies than
on their minds because people nowadays believe that physical
appearance is more important than mental appearance. What counts is
the one that is on the inside; both can be significant in their own right.
Others nowadays should avoid evaluating people based on their
appearance and instead get to know them better before passing
judgment.

2. How can we stop emotional bleeding that was brought by failure, rejection,
and loneliness?

Answer: Simply thinking of those things as a struggle to overcome and the

feelings of failure, rejection, and loneliness you experience can serve as
motivation to perform better and work harder than before. In such a case,
you will be able to overcome the challenge that has been set for you. The
issue is that pain must be felt. In this world, you don't get to choose who
hurts you, but you do get to choose who harms you. The world isn't a wish
fulfillment factory, and not everything goes as planned. Everyone will suffer,
and you may think that no one cares about you, that no one loves you,
that no one will miss you, but this is not true. Many people will, you just aren't
aware of it. Failure, rejection, and loneliness are all common feelings
among others. Just remember that you are not alone; many other people
are experiencing similar challenges. Just know that someone will be there
for you someday, someone who will truly make you happy and accept you
for who you are.

3. What is rumination? Why is it dubbed as one of the unhealthiest

psychological habits?

Answer: Rumination is the process of immersing oneself in profound

thoughts about certain topics and has been characterized as the most
unhealthy psychological habit. It has been characterized as such because
rumination leads to overthinking, which in turn leads to anxiety, insecurities,
and melancholy. This concentrates on the things, people, and events that
have rendered his/her life meaningless or at stake, and it leads to that
individual focusing on the causes and consequences rather than solutions.
Also, that person is now preoccupied by the negative ideas he or she is
having. As a result, it is an unhealthy act that makes a person more stressed,
sad, worried, insecure, and depressed. These emotions can have an
impact not only on ourselves, but also on the people, activities, and
environment around us.

4. According to Dr. Winch, how can someone resist the urge of ruminating?

Answer: In an interview on the All-About-Psychology website, Doctor Winch

was questioned about one example of a detrimental habit known as
ruminating. In one of his posts, he provided some advice on how to
overcome this bad habit that is harmful to one's mental health. One
method is through distraction. In fact, Dr. Winch suggested in the
aforementioned interview that people utilize a 2-minute diversion if there is
a need to ruminate. Dr. Winch also suggested being proactive in solving
problems that keep replaying in one's head, talking about the repeated
ideas with a trusted friend, meditating, and counseling.

5. What are the benefits of taking care of your psychological health? Name
at least two (2).

Answer: The benefits of taking care of our psychological health are

reduction in anxiety, improved moods, clearer thinking, a greater sense of
calm or inner peace, increased self-esteem, reduced risk of depression and
improvements in relationships.
