Day 4
Day 4
“My # Hashtag”
#AlwaysDayDreaming
Sometimes, after eating my lunch I tend to lie down on a sofa or on my bed and start to
ponder about things. I start to imagine things like what I’d be in the future, and what it
would feel if I become successful in life. I love to imagine happy thoughts before
sleeping in the afternoon. That’s what I always do when I’m taking my siesta.
TEXT ANALYSIS
1. The poetic persona in the poem is the author.
2. Speaker is located somewhere outside of her nation.
3. It indicates that she doesn't want to return to a time when it was chilly or winter
where she is.
4. The speaker yearns for the period when the weather was hot and humid, when
the season in her own country was like that.
5. The first location was chilly, but the second was hot and muggy, where she takes
her siesta and daydreams about mangoes. She would do better in the warm
location, in my opinion, as she would have a lot on her mind when she returns
there.
6. Siesta, daydreaming of mangoes, orchard from back home, mangoes gold.
7. The mango is sweeter than the apple because, in the speaker's words, it is "tree-
ripe and exactly perfect." However, since the apple was not mentioned, it might
be inferred that the mango is sweeter than the apple.
8. She favours leading a straightforward lifestyle that includes ,afternoon naps, and
mindful mango consumption.
9. Yes, things like going through life simply, napping in the afternoon, and gathering
fruit from trees.

and joy that come with being there. especially if they own a possession they
greatly miss.
11. I would choose to stay in the Philippines, for the reason that, my loved ones are
and people who are close to my heart are here. I know that I can’t be separated
from them for a long time. Also, the peace and happiness it brings me when they
are close to me are one of the things that can’t be replaced with.
