MY FAVORITE SMARTPHONE

Our society today is a modernized, industrialized society. Advances in science and


technology are researched and developed and applied in practice to improve people's lives.
And the advent of mobile phones marked a turning point in human history. So, what made me
choose to buy a smartphone, not a computer or laptop?

The first reason that I bought this smartphone was its appearance. Anyone will be
attracted by its look. That’s modern with design is extremely luxurious. My father and I went to
the store to buy it as a gift for me because I passed the university entrance exam. It is an
iPhone 13 in silver color. This monitor can automatically adjust the speed, providing overall
performance and smoother animations. The touch screen helps me to just swipe to open the
device. On the other hand, the camera of this phone is excellent, it can take very good pictures
at night.

Second, my father bought the phone because it is useful for me to study and entertain. I
can access the latest information in the fastest way. I usually use the dictionary on the phone
instead of bringing a big traditional one. Besides looking up information, you can use it to take
photos or record videos to keep memories. And that’s also the way most students usually use it
today and of course me. The thing that I like best is it helps me relax after studying. I can watch
videos, listen to music, or read books. Especially, I can connect with international friends by
phone. That’s exhilarating! Talking and chatting with them regularly improve my English a lot.
Moreover, my father know that I would easily get lost in many crowded streets of the city.
Having a smartphone makes it easier for me to find my way. It helps me avoid getting lost
through some smart apps such as bus map or google maps.
Finally, the most important reason that I choose this brand is its security and anti-theft.
Nowadays, many situations are stolen personal information over the internet because their
smartphone doesn’t have enough security. With the iOS operating system, the Apple brand has
strict control over the features provided by 3rd parties to limit bad objects from stealing
important user data.
In short, a smartphone not only has an eye-catching look but also has high security,
combined with it can solve all problems with just one touch, which has made me want to buy a
smartphone. It connects millions of people, shrinking the world around us through the phone
screen, but let's use the phone sensibly without having to overdo it. The smartphone is an
advanced discovery of mankind, confirming intelligence, and the advances in technology for
human life.
