ENTRANCE TO EXCELLENCE
CSU Carig Campus'(ad optimum educans)
motto which means "Educating the Best" is
found below the logo of CSU and the red
eagle that represents the Carig Campus.
These are found at the gate of the campus
which resembles a corinthian order greek
temple filled with intricate dentils and
console.
Architecture

BLAZING RED EAGLE


ROTUNDa, The 'iconic' place in HEART OF
CSU-CARIG CAMPUS which is surrounded by A
9-METER Corinthian columns, CAPITALS AND
ITS COLOR CHANGING FOUNTAIN. FOUR ROARING
LIONS SORROUNDED THE ROTUNDA WHICH
REPRESENTS A CSUAN'S SPIRIT OF majesty,
wisdom, power, and ferocity.IT IS A TYPE
OF ROUNABOUT DESIGN WHERE ROADS CONNECTING
DIFFERENT COLLEGES MEET AT THIS POINT.
Architecture

LEGENDARY...EXPANSIVE... EXTRAORDINARY.
This is the Red Eagle Gymnasium at Cagayan
State University-Carig Campus. A place that
witnessed different emotions, cheers and
yells, tears coming from students, faculties,
staff, and deans of the University. This
magnificent piece of art was made by the
former engineers and architects of this
university and is located at the very center
of the campus.

WORLD-CLASS
CAGAYAN STATE UNIVERSITY'S CAMPUSES WERE
DESIGNED AND BUILT BASED ON THE CONCEPT OF
GREEK ARCHITECTURE. in carig campus, cOLLEGE
OF ENGINEERING & architecture(coea), college
of public administration(cpad), and college
of arts & sciences(cas)have this design which
highlights the school's pulchritude.
Architecture

OLD BUT GOLD


This is the old building of the College of
Medicine and Surgery. A building that once
gives medical students a home to nurture
their skills, knowledge, and capabilities
in their respective courses. At present
time, the School Library and the Guidance
Office is located in this Building. This
architectural art brings students, as well
as the faculties, a place to learn and
teach.
Corinthian Column

Of the three Greek orders, Corinthian


columns are the most elaborate, thin,
and elegant. Corinthian COLUMNS'
distinctive features include a
beautiful cornice, two rows of
acanthus leaves, and a bell-shaped
capital with volutes. majority of
colleges in csu-carig campus were
built on this style.
Doric Column

The Doric column is sometimes


connected with masculinity and
strength. Ancient architects
frequently employed Doric columns for
the lowest level of multi-story
buildings, believing that they could
take the most weight, while saving the
more slender Ionic and Corinthian
columns for the upper levels.
Banisters and Balusters

GREYISH OLD BUT A MIGHTY STAIRCASE


These broad BALUSTRADE-DESIGN CONCRETE
STAIRWAYS serve as a path between the Red
Eagle Gymnasium and the College of Human
Kinetics. Looks oldish yet well-built as it
was carrying the footsteps of thousands of
professionals through the years. This
symbolizes the journey and the growth of
knowledge and spirits of the dreamers
inside the campus by taking progress and
achievements at each level like climbing a
stair where a bright future awaits.
Miniatures

RICH HISTORY
Miniature Art is a group show that features
sculptures and paintings on a mind-
bogglingly small size. It thrills the sight
and tantalizes the mind with possibilities.
This small artwork may be found at the
Campus Library. This highlights the key
events that took place on campus and the
history of the university.
Statue

ENTERING WITH PRIDE


The lion statue in the entrance of The Food
Innovation Center symbolizes bravery,
power, majesty, strength, courage, and
devotion. Just like a lion, the food
innovation center is the apex of food
sciences in the region.
Literature

BOOKS ARE OUR


BEST TRAVEL
COMPANIONS

Literature is a linguistic art form,


and words are its instruments. As a
painter uses paint, as a musician uses
musical instruments, as a sculptor
uses stone-and-chisel, so a writer
utilizes wordS. THE CSU-CARIG LIBRARY
IS A PARADISE FOR BOOKWORMS WHO ENJOYS
READING LITERATURE.
