it covers a couple of the topics I wanted to talk about in my paper. It solely covers the problem
and why maternity leave should be extended. It also lays out facts as to how extending maternity
leaves helps improve the mom and baby. Lastly it gives recommendations on how people can

This site is titled Do Longer Maternity Leaves Affect Maternal Health. I chose this site because it
focuses on talking about one of my topics. This site talks about how the length of maternity
health is affecting mothers and why. There was a lot on the why and one example being it goes
into what postpartum is and how it is affecting mothers. THis site gives me great facts that I can
use in my paper.

depression, domestic violence, and also being attached to offspring. This is a topic I will be
talking about in my paper. Paid maternity leave. This article is good because it shows a lot of
studies that have been done. The studies go all the way from the 2000’s.

about psychology research. I think that this would be good to use in my paper because it's real
facts and not someone's opinion. It goes into health benefits and why it's good. It also talks about
changes in the fathers brain, benefits for the child, and influencing policies.

This site is titled How Children Benefit from Paid Family Leave Policies. I chose this site
because it gives a different view of what I have been researching while staying on the topic of
my paper. One thing this site talks about is the family and medical leave act. I thought this was
great cause it told me why the time period of maternity leave is how it is and why. The site also
talks about the business aspect and it gives a lot of important things that I can use.

goes into not only how longer leave affects the mother and child, but how it also affects the
father. It had a lot of amazing topics. It talks on the way paid leave benefits the whole family,
how family leave increases breastfeeding and the child's health, and to why the early months
matter most. I really liked this article because it talks about the whole family instead of just the
