Media Literacy, Information Literacy, Technology Literacy


INTRODUCTION
Media Information Literacy (MIL) module is intended for Grade 11/12 applicable
to all strands in senior high learners designed in self-pace learning process. This
module encourages the learners to understand basic communication tools and to
use it effectively.

What I need to know

Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding of media and


information literacy (MIL) and related concepts.

Performance Standard: The learner organizes a creative and interactive


symposium for the community focusing on being a media and information literate
individual.

Learning Competencies:

1. Describe how communication is influenced by media and information.

4. Explain how the evolution of media from traditional to new media
shaped the values and norms of people and society.
