3. Compare and contrast the assumption: of the original Bretton Woods system with
those of the Washington Consensus
Answer: The Bretton wood system believes that country will show down when the
money in it will not move or not be spent that is why in this system, when the economies
slow down, the market should have more capital to have money to spend. While washing
Consensus recommends the government to spend less to reduce depts. And
describes all the policies that the international institutions based in Washington,
IMF, World Bank, etc.
