1.– General use: verb+ed look looked

2.– Verbs ending in ‘e‟ + d live lived

3. If the verb ends in a stressed sillable


1 sillable verb, ending in 1vowel+1consonant

travel travelled
double consonant+ed stop stopped

Verbs ending in „y‟ a.- vowel+y verb+ed play played


4. b.– consont+y verb-y+ied study studied

2.– PRONUNCIATION:
1.– Se pronuncia /t/ detrás de consonantes sordas (PeTaKa, CHoZaS, FiSH) worked

2.– Se pronuncia /d/ detrás de consonantes sonoras y vocales lived listened

3.– Se pronuncia /id/ detrás de los verbos terminados en “t” y “d” wanted decided

3.– Write the past form of these verbs, and their pronunciation (on the short line).
