[ ]Method of superposition of stresses and deformation resulting from temperature change

[ ]Stresses in thin cylinders and spheres

[ ]Stresses on inclined planes; principal stresses

[ ]Structural mechanics of statically determinate body systems and plane jointed frames

[ ]REVISION.

They should read the notes the man gives them or are in the drive.

Not that they’re the main thing, they only help make reading the textbooks easier.

RK Bansal Strength of Materials and Deietmar Gross Werner are the texts.

They should practice Pq also, and also learn trusses again, 1 question would surely come from trusses.

EEG 213: Signals and Systems

[v]Signals: Continuous and discrete signals

[ ]Transformations and inverse transformations, spectral analysis of steps

[ ]Ramps and impulse, signal descriptions by impulse and step functions.

[ ]The independent variable; definitions of rise-lime, settling time, overshoot, period magnitude and
duration of a signal.

[ ]Fourier Analysis

[ ]Parseval’s Theorem, Periodic and Non-periodic signals,

[ ]Devices and Models; Network analysis of circuits with independent and dependent sources.

[ ]Time invariant and stationary systems

[ ]REVISION.
\

As the name implies, 2 parts, Part 1 is Signals, Part 2 is systems.

For test, no matter how early in the semester it is, they should have finished everything pertaining to
signals, even and odd, discrete, continuous and those basic representations.

For exams, they should master Fourier series and representation of signals and Laplace transformations.

Then classes of systems also, casual and anticausal and the likes

For an idea of the man’s questions they should see pq. He repeats a lot of questions.

Recommend text: Anand Kumar

EEG 211: Fundamentals of Elect.

[ ]Circuit Laws: Kirchhoff’s Laws, Thevenin’s Theorem, Norton’s Theorem

[ ]Superposition Theorem, Millman’s Theorem, Rosen’s Theorem.

[ ]Energy stored in capacitors and Inductors

[ ]Electromagnetic Induction and Magnetic forces, self and mutual Inductance

[ ]Electrochemical power sources

[ ]REVISION.

For the basics, they should read Sadiku up to the AC part.

But to prep for test and exams, the man gets questions from Agarwal and Lang, and Hayt.

If they only read sadiku and practice the questions there, best a "C". The questions are cheap.

And the should learn nodal and mesh analysis, oluseyi liked opamps, if they don't master it, they would
have trouble with op amps

They shouldn't skip star delta transformation also.

And they should solve his practice questions. He records it.

EEG 217: Elect. Graphics

[ ]Software tools for computer graphics, analytic geometry and computer graphics

[ ]Basics of 3-D graphics

[ ]Hidden line and Hidden surface routines.

[ ]Graphic Theory

[ ]Simulations of circuit element, devices and components

[ ]Simulation of Electronics Circuit

[ ]REVISION.

MATLAB

Basically, they should never miss his class, make sure they install matlab early. Practice after every class,
practice at least once a weekend. It should be their easiest course if they practice and don’t disturb the
man.

He gives quizzes when the class is empty so they should try attending his class.

EEG 215: Elect. Materials

[ ]Introduction to Quantum and Statistical Mechanism

[ ]Structure of Solids

[ ]Electrons in Solids

[ ]Introduction to Transducers

[ ]REVISION.

Jack his slides, every slide he gives, they should make sure they read it and research on the topics if they
don’t understand it. If they do this, they’re good to go. PQ Course also.

EEG 231: Elect. Lab

The Laboratory course for Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering is designed to illustrate the topics
covered in the course-

[ ]REVISION.

There is this note, GEG 201 on complex variables by the course head. 80% of test and exam questions
come from there.

If they want to go the extra mile, they should study H.K Dass and Schaums complex variables, but it’s
not compulsory.

[ ]REVISION.
\

They should attend classes as much as they can, if they don’t, they should read the notes given in class.

There would be 10 slides, they should reach slide 7 before test and make sure they finish the slides
before exam.

It’s a lecturer course, no need to jack textbook if you’re reading smart, read the notes and slides and
you’re good to go.

For Geg’s, test might be obj. But they should still jack slides, because all obj questions are from the
slides.

Our set is the worst set to give them advice, we did nothing. Just sanfoundry and crammed obj.

They should go and buy JN Green (Green and Orange one), because they’d want to kala them as we
passed it a lot. YouTube videos would help a lot also. And they should submit all assignments, never can
tell which they’d use.
