The modular learning has made a devastated impacts to the lives of every
students as they will have a new setting of studying. It may not just affect the learning of
students but also to their mental health, preparedness, time management and socialization.
According to Keziel (2020) since modules are answered at home, where tension can build the
child may develop anxiety as a result of a lack of peace in their studying environment,
particularly for students who are occupied with activities other than schoolwork. While in the
study of Dochy.et al. (1989) and Valentine (2002) they pointed out that the flexibility, maturity and self-
discipline are the key to gain success in this type of learning as self-learning is a big task and not all
students are able to do it thus one’s preparedness is important for modular learning.

Time management in modular learning for students are still need to be assist by the school or
teacher, since students are not dependent and doesn’t know how to make time for studying and playing
since most of their time are spent on uneducational activities (Sari, Ilhamdaniah, & Megayanti, 2020).
And in socialization according to Azmat and Ahmad (2020) there is a lack of interaction between students
since students feel isolated and boredom during modular learning and this causes a lot of consequences
like cheating, habitual in not taking their classes and they misuse the technology which driven students to
lost interest in studying and dropout.
